Joe’s granddaughter Maisy parties with SNL cast moments after show calls race between Biden, 81, and Trump, 77, ‘elder abuse’

President Joe Biden’s granddaughter, Maisy Biden, was spotted at the Saturday Night Live after-party, where she socialized with celebrity hosts and guest stars after the show presented a joke calling her grandfather’s re-election campaign against Trump “elder abuse.”

Maisy, 23, was seen in a very relaxed outfit to combat the frigid cold New York City is currently experiencing.

She paired an orange and black bomber jacket with a bright yellow beanie and loose-fitting jeans. Other guests appeared to be dressed in similarly eclectic ways.

During the live taping of the show, Weekend Update hosts Colin Jost and Michael Che grilled each party’s likely 2024 presidential candidates on their ages. Biden is 81 and Trump is 77.

“Guys, I don’t know if we should do this election,” Jost said. “It’s really starting to look like elder abuse.”

“We should tell Trump and Biden they both won” and then send them out to pasture, he joked.

Both Donald Trump, 77, and Joe Biden, 81, have been described as too old for the country’s top job. As their campaigns kick into high gear, more attention will be paid to moments of confusion or errors in both experiences

Australian actor Jacob Elordi hosted the January 20 SNL show with musical guest Reneé Rapp, both of whom attended the afterparty.

Rapp, who is currently starring in the musical reboot of Mean Girls, wore black pants, a black jacket, a white T-shirt and a big smile as she headed to the event.

Elordi’s girlfriend, social media star and participant in the university bribery scandal, Olivia Jade, was also in attendance.

The long-limbed beauty was photographed leaving the after-party wrapped in a long white fur coat, which she wore over black tights and black platform heels.

Model and actress Cara Delevingne was also spotted in a hat and scarf, paired with her signature dejected expression.

Also pictured were cast member Chloe Fineman entering the party, accompanied by comedian Sarah Sherman, and famed director Steven Spielberg, who braved the subzero temperatures in what appeared to be a suede jacket.

A beaming Reneé Rapp, who was SNL's musical guest this week, was spotted at the afterparty, which was held at Saks Fifth Avenue's ninth-floor restaurant, L'Avenue.

During the SNL weekend update, Che commenting on John Kerry’s decision to give up his role as the administration’s “climate envoy” is a poor indicator of what’s to come the Biden campaign’s path.

“It’s not a good sign that President Biden’s campaign is addressing a bigger emergency than climate change.” he said.

Jost described two moments on the campaign trail last week.

Biden claimed he had his photo taken with Congresswoman Deborah Ross at an event in North Carolina. Indeed, she was not at the event.

The blunder was reminiscent of the palpably awkward moment in 2022 when the president asked Congresswoman Jackie Walorski, a Republican from Indiana, to stand up. Walorski had tragically died in a car accident the month before.

On the campaign trail in New Hampshire, former President Donald Trump appeared to include Nikki Haley’s name in a thought about former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

“By the way, they never report the crowd on January 6th. You know, Nikki Haley, Nikki Haley, Nikki Haley…did you know that they destroyed all the information, all the evidence, everything, destroyed everything?

“All this, because of a lot of things, like Nikki Haley being in charge of security, we offered her 10,000 people, soldiers, National Guard, whatever they want. They rejected it,” he said.

That led Haley to question Trump’s fitness to serve as president, while Trump pushed back on Haley’s concerns.

Biden, despite a difficult first term and persistent criticism of his age and mental capabilities, is not seriously challenged for the nomination by anyone within the Democratic establishment.

Trump faces several challengers, although the slate is significantly distrusted and only one state has voted.

It’s not entirely clear that Nikki Haley or Ron DeSantis have a path to the nomination, but the three will continue to duke it out Tuesday in New Hampshire, followed by Nevada and South Carolina.
