Joe Swash ‘has flown out to South Africa to film I’m A Celebrity All Stars series’

The highly anticipated I’m A Celeb All Stars series will hit our TV screens next year.

And it is reported that Joe Swash, the former king of the jungle who also hosted the popular spin-off show of the series, flew to South Africa to participate.

The ex EastEnders actor won the ITV series in 2008 and later hosted the spin-off show for ten years, and his wife Stacey Solomon teased that he is currently not home filming for a new job.

The star, who recently married X Factor singer and former Jungle 2010 Queen Stacey, hopes to become the first double winner by taking part in the All Stars show.

A source told The sun: ‘Joe was always on the producers’ charts because he was such an iconic winner. But they had to smooth out the timing and came to a conclusion that worked.

“He flew there and can’t wait to get a good picture of himself for the second time on the show.”

Stacey, who Joe shares two children with son Rex, three, and daughter Rose, revealed he went on a business trip in one of her regular Insta updates.

The Loose Women panelist shared a photo on her Instagram last week, writing: “Since Joe has been away for the past few weeks, these two have gotten so close and every morning they crawl into bed with me.”

Joe will reportedly be joined by Myleene Klass, Jordan Banjo and Paul Burrell for the pre-recorded series that airs next year.

Presenters Ant and Dec confirmed they are currently filming in South Africa for the brand new spin-off of the ITV hit series I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here last week.

They revealed the exciting news on Twitter, writing: ‘South Africaaaaaaaaa! That’s right, we’re filming a very special version of I’m A Celebrity in South Africa that will be on your television in 2023.”

Alongside the tweet was a video of the television duo speaking on a rocky terrain with some scenic mountains and water surrounding it, saying, “We have news.”

Dec describes it as the ‘worst kept secret on television’ and continues: ‘We can confirm that we are doing a very special series of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! In South Africa!

“It’s going to be your favorite celebrities from the past 20 years doing it again.”

The Geordie duo – who have run the show since its launch in 2002 – revealed that the plan is to return the ITV show to Down Under later this year.

They also answered questions about the series returning to Australia later this year after the previous two series took place at Gwrych Castle in North Wales, due to travel restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ant asks his opponent, ‘But are we going to Australia Declan?’, to which Dec responds: ‘Yes, we are. This year we are going back to Australia. This is next year.’

Construction on the famous camp has begun and parts of the set will be connected by a suspended sky bridge over the Blyde River Canyon in northeastern South Africa.

Ant McPartlin, 46, told presenters Amanda Holden and Jamie Theakston on Heart Radio: ‘The plan is for us to go back to Australia. It must return to its spiritual home. Everyone wants to see a little sun on television at that time of year.’
