Popular podcast host Joe Rogan has put forward the theory that the discovery of top-secret and classified documents that appear to have been mishandled by President Joe Biden is part of a ploy by Democrats to oust Biden before the 2024 race. .
On an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience that aired over the weekend, Rogan spoke with comedians Matt McCusker and Shane Gillis, who co-host a podcast of their own together.
During the conversation, the three broached the topic of recently discovered secret and classified documents that were found by Biden’s lawyers and paralegals at his Delaware home and at his DC think tank.
“If I had to guess, they’re trying to get rid of him,” Rogan speculated, referring to members of the president’s own party, hoping to clear the field before the 2024 presidential election.
Biden’s team has continually denied any wrongdoing and predicted that he will be cleared of any wrongdoing in regards to the classified documents debacle.
‘It’s crazy. He (Joe Biden) is stuck in manila folders when it was like kissing 12-year-old girls on camera,” McCusker said, referring to some of the president’s often bizarre behavior with underage girls.
Rogan then intervened: ‘I don’t know shit about politics. But if I had to guess, they’re trying to get rid of it.
I guess they’re trying to get rid of it. If all of a sudden they are, their own aides are sending these, instead of taking these classified documents, that you’ve located and saying, ‘Okay, let’s not do that again’ and locking them up somewhere,’ Rogan said.
“Self report,” Gillis offered.
“Friend, we go”, answered Rogan. ‘That sounds suspicious. Well, nobody self-reported that fucking laptop.
“Well, that was Russian disinformation,” Gillis quipped. That smacks of Russian disinformation.
The comedian, who was infamously cast and then promptly fired by the producers of Saturday Night Live for insensitive jokes he had made in the past, was referring to the claim made by 51 US intelligence officials who said the computer Hunter Biden laptop appeared to be Russian disinformation on the eve of the 2020 presidential election.
‘I mean everyone said this a million times with the news. If that had changed, if he was, you know, Trump’s son, it would have been over,” McCusker said.
“It would have been like, this is the fate of our democracy… blah blah blah,” he added.
“And the media would have gone with the flow,” Rogan said.

Comedian Shane Gillis speculated that it is unlikely that someone affiliated with the president’s administration would suddenly decide to self-report the discovery of classified documents at the president’s home.

“We have been cooperative from the time we informed the Archives that a small number of documents were found, and we will continue to cooperate,” Richard Sauber, a senior White House counsel, said in a statement, adding that the documents were “misplaced inadvertently”. ‘ and not illegally mishandled.
The top-secret documents found in DC include US intelligence memos and briefing materials covering topics including Ukraine, Iran and the United Kingdom, CNN reported.
There was also a memo from Biden to President Obama, as well as two briefing memos preparing Biden for phone calls: one with the British prime minister, the other with Donald Tusk, the former prime minister of Poland who served as president of the European Council. from 2014-2019.
Biden responded to reporters who inquired about the debacle on Thursday by saying the documents found in Delaware were in a “locked garage” with his beloved Corvette.

The disclosure of the classified material is deeply uncomfortable for Biden, who condemned Donald Trump last year when it emerged he had boxes of classified documents at Mar-a-Lago.
