Joe Rogan says he wouldn’t want Russian President Vladimir Putin on his podcast.
During the day Tuesday episodethe controversial host sat down with comedian Burt Kreischer to discuss a myriad of topics before the conversation finally turned to Putin.
“You know, Putin has to listen to your podcast, right?” Kreischer said, prompting Rogan to respond sarcastically, “I hope so. Hey, what’s up bro?’
Rogan told the comedian he would refuse to meet Putin, asking Kreischer “have you lost your mind” and saying, Hey, forget all those people you killed who were your political opponents. Let’s be calm now.’
Despite his objections, Rogan praised the Russian dictator for his “solid” and “legitimate” judo.

The conversation between the two started when the two discussed the ongoing talks about a prisoner exchange between the US and Russia.
Rogan had found an article about the negotiations between the two countries about ex-Marine Paul Whelan, who has been detained in Russia since 2018.
Then Kreischer asked the podcast host if he would be open to meeting Putin, to which Rogan didn’t hesitate to reply, “No.”
“Wait, what’s wrong with your brain, I’d love that,” Kreischer said.
‘Why would you do that?’ Rogan replied.
The “Joe Rogan Experience” anchor then brought up the story of Robert Kraft, owner of the New England Patriots, who once had his Super Bowl Ring stolen by Putin.
During the meeting between Putin and Kraft in St. Petersburg in 2005, Putin reportedly asked to try on Kraft’s ring, but decided to keep it without asking.
“What about the prospect of you hanging out with Putin and turning him into a cooler dude,” Kreischer insisted.
“Have you lost your mind?” said Rogan, questioning Kreischer’s theory.
“Be a completely different person from a completely different background who was not in the KGB, who is not a dictator, who has no control over information and determines what news is distributed to your people,” the host continued.
Rogan continued his rant, mentioning the oligarchic system in Russia and saying of the dictator, “You’re clearly evil.”
Kreischer laughs at Rogan: “You’ll never get an invite like this.”
“Yeah, it’s not my performance,” Rogan replies sternly.

The pair then shifted the conversation to another dictator, North Korea’s Kim Jong Un.
“I still want to meet Kim Jong-un,” Kreischer said.
Rogan is clearly shocked by the comedian’s confession and replies, “Woah.”
‘Yes I want to. That doesn’t interest me’, Kreischer explains.
The podcast host doesn’t confirm or deny his own interest in meeting the North Korean dictator, but says he has someone he’d like to see battle Kim Jong Un.
“What interests me is Trump meeting him. That was interesting,” Rogan said. After calling him “Little Rocket Man,” he goes to meet him. Shakes his hand. They all smile. That’s a terrible game.’
Rogan then outlined the atrocities North Korean civilians have faced because of Kim Jong Un, calling it “heinous shit.”
“It’s horrible what they’ve done. Horrific shit. But it was all under the guise of a more just society, a fairer and more just world,” he said.
“What’s the difference between shaking hands with our president?” Kreischer asked.
“It’s a big difference,” Rogan said, explaining that he doesn’t completely agree with how the US works, but that he still believes in the overall system.
“The way this country is run isn’t perfect, but the way this country is run is so damn superior to any system that exists anywhere else in the world,” he said.
“Because of the checks and balances put in place by the founding fathers,” Rogan told Kreischer.

The discussion about Putin and his dictatorship between Rogan and Kreischer comes just days after another controversial figure said they planned to conduct an interview with Putin before the NSA intervened.
In an appearance on the Full Send Podcast, Fox News host Tucker Carlson alleged that the National Security Agency broke into his Signal account and ruined his interview.
“How do you know the NSA has broken into your signal,” one of the hosts asked.
“Because they admitted it,” Carlson responds.
The Fox host said he was asked to meet someone on a recent trip in Washington, D.C., and was told that his texts had been read and that they indicated he had an upcoming trip to Russia planned.
Carlson said he had told “no one,” including his own wife, about the trip.
‘How did you know that?’ Carlson said he asked the person.
“Because the NSA retrieved the texts with that other person you were texting,” the person said.
