Joe Rogan issues grave warning for what he thinks will happen to America if Kamala Harris wins

Joe Rogan has warned that the First Amendment will be at risk if Kamala Harris is elected president.

The podcast host discussed censorship on social media platforms during a Thursday episode of his show.

He stated that X and Rumble are currently the only places with unfettered freedom of speech.

But he warned that the situation could deteriorate further if Democrats win in November.

‘I don’t think so [censorship] turns heel when Kamala Harris comes to power. I think they’re limiting more,” he said of the Joe Rogan Experience.

She openly discussed the need for the same rules for Facebook and Twitter and the possibility that Elon Musk could lose his privileges. ‘

In 2019, Harris famously labeled social media companies as purveyors of “hate” and “disinformation,” promising to hold them accountable for the content posted on their platforms.

“We will hold social media platforms accountable for the hate that infiltrates their platforms, because they have a responsibility to help combat this threat to our democracy,” Harris said during a 2019 speech to the NAACP.

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg also said he felt “extreme pressure” to remove content that the government had asked Facebook to censor from its platforms, but that he felt the pressure was “wrong.”

“There’s so many wild things they say,” Rogan added. “Tim Walz said the First Amendment does not apply to misinformation or hate speech. Okay, that’s definitely true.’

He added that the “purpose” of the First Amendment is to encourage dialogue so that when “you say something wrong, this person, who is an expert, says the right thing and you correct him or her.”

Walz previously stated, “There is no guarantee of freedom of speech when it comes to disinformation or hate speech, and especially not when it comes to democracy.”

However, in 2021, the Supreme Court previously confirmed that there is no exception for hate speech.

“As a nation, we have chosen a different course – to protect even hurtful speech on public issues and to ensure that we do not stifle public debate,” Chief Justice John Roberts said.

During the episode, Rogan went on a rant about how “so much” of what is censored “turns out to be true.”

He referenced the pandemic mandate for wearing masks, saying that “face masks don’t work.”

However, studies have shown that wearing masks effectively and consistently can help slow the spread of Covid-19.

A new poll Freedom Forum found that Americans place less importance on First Amendment protections.

Only 58 percent of respondents said they would approve of the First Amendment today, a four-point drop from 2020.
