Joe Rogan denounces Biden’s refusal to participate in 2024 election debates as ‘not so democratic’

Podcast host Joe Rogan criticized Joe Biden for refusing to debate his Democratic rivals in a primary, arguing it was “not very Democratic.”

Biden is challenged for the nomination by self-help author Marianne Williamson and JFK’s cousin, Robert F. Kennedy, a staunch anti-vaxxer.

No sitting president of either party has ever held a debate with those who sought to impeach them.

But Rogan, in a clip obtained by Mediationsaid Biden had to face Williamson and Kennedy.

“I think these people are crazy,” Rogan said in the Wednesday edition of his podcast.

“I think, you know, it’s very hard to run a country and most people aren’t very good at it. Just how it goes. There are few people who are really good at it.’

Rogan said the country was “not well-governed,” so it would need to be explored who would be better suited.

Joe Rogan said on Wednesday it was “not so democratic” that Biden would not debate his Democratic rivals Marianne Williamson and RFK Jr.

“So you have to go, well, who better? Would it be a Republican? Or could it be a better Democrat?

And if it’s not a better Democrat, how are we going to get a better Democrat if you don’t let the president debate? So they don’t let him argue.’

Rogan said that both Kennedy and Williamson – who were running for the Democratic nomination in 2020 – were “promising candidates for the Democratic party.”

He added, “But they won’t let him debate for the primaries. So it’s like, that’s not so democratic, like, that’s not how it’s supposed to be done.”

Williamson announced in February that she would run for president for a second time, challenging Joe Biden in the Democratic primary.

Her announcement speech was peppered with her philosophy of love and light.

“We are angry with this country; we are concerned about this country,” she said at her campaign launch event on March 5.

“It is our job to create a vision of justice and love so powerful that it will overcome the forces of hatred, injustice and fear.”

She dropped out of the 2020 presidential race in January of that year, before the primary began in earnest. She had gone through two campaign managers and dozens of associates in her short candidacy.

But she had some breakaway moments as a candidate, including during a Democratic presidential debate in July 2019, when she addressed then-President Donald Trump directly, telling him, “I am going to use love for political purposes. I’ll meet you on that field. And, sir, love will prevail.’

Williamson is the author of more than a dozen books and became famous as a self-help guru.

She markets her A Course in Miracles as a way to achieve inner peace. Its foundations emphasize love and forgiveness.

Williamson is less popular than Kennedy, who is performing better than expected in early polls.

A poll for Fox News conducted between April 21 and April 24 put him at 19 percent of the vote in the Democratic primary.

It’s still well below Joe Biden’s 62 percent, but it’s also ahead of Williamson, who sits at 9 percent.

Name recognition as the son of slain former Attorney General Robert Kennedy and the nephew of President John F. Kennedy may have done something to inflate his status.

Kennedy, a former environmental lawyer and outspoken anti-vaccine activist, launched his campaign on April 19 in Boston to a packed house of 1,000 supporters.

He was cheered on by his wife, Curb Your Enthusiasm actress Cheryl Hines, but he was not joined by many of his relatives who publicly disagreed with him over his views, or who work for Joe Biden’s White House.

Kennedy is the nephew of former President John F Kennedy and the son of former U.S. Attorney General Robert Kennedy, who was assassinated in 1968 during his own run for president.

Kennedy was a renowned environmental attorney for decades, including serving as a senior attorney for the non-profit organization Natural Resources Defense Council.

More recently, he has become one of the faces of vaccine skepticism and his anti-vaccine, Children’s Health Defense, accounts have been taken down by Facebook and Instagram for spreading misinformation.

Kennedy said he fled because “our country is being stolen from us.”

“Both political parties are caught up in corporate interests,” he said.

“There is an amalgamation of state and corporate power.

“I want a democratic party to act in accordance with its traditional values.”

Kennedy said he wanted to end political polarization and believed the “key is to tell the truth to Americans.”

He said: ‘My father lived in a time of great polarization and he was able to bring people together.

On the last day of his life, he won both the most rural state in America and the most urban state, uniting blacks, whites, and Hispanics and the entire cross-section of the American public.

“I think we can do that again.”

If he won the nomination, Kennedy would take on likely Republican nominee Donald Trump by holding him “responsible for the lockdowns” during the Covid-19 pandemic, he said.
