Joe Rogan and Barstool Sports’ Dave Portnoy break down in hysterics

Joe Rogan applauded Greta Thunberg’s controversial Twitter fight with Andrew Tate hours before he was to be arrested on human trafficking charges.

The podcaster appeared alongside Barstool Sports’ Dave Portnoy on a Thursday episode of The Joe Rogan Experience to discuss the jokes that began when Tate mocked the teenage environmental activist over carbon emissions on Dec. 27.

Tate, 36, randomly tagged Thunberg, 20, in a photo of himself filling up his Bugatti supercar before posting a video lounging in a robe while insisting that a pizza box not be recycled.

He was later detained for 24 hours along with his brother Tristan on charges of rape and human trafficking, while some viewers suggested that the infamous pizza box gave away his exact location to authorities.

“This is what happens when you don’t recycle your pizza boxes,” Thunberg later tweeted in response to Tate’s arrest.

Rogan praised Thunberg’s sarcastic comment which he claimed was coincidental: “That shit is funny.” That shit is hilarious. You have to give it to him. And also, why are you going after an autistic 19-year-old girl who’s actually into climate change?

Andrew Tate, 36, was arrested in Romania on December 28 for human trafficking

Tate and Tristan were arrested by Romanian prosecutors in an alleged organized crime ring that sexually exploited at least six women, who were recruited, housed and forced to make pornographic videos for sale online.

Rogan admitted that he was not aware of the Tate case and hoped that it was not true for the good of those involved.

‘I do not know what’s happening. Right? What really happened? And why is Romania going after him? Rogan questioned.

While Rogan wasn’t very familiar with the Tate scandal, he was aware of her attack on Thunberg that occurred before her arrest.

It all started when Tate shared a photo of himself filling up his Bugatti supercar and asked him to send him his email address so he could detail the “huge emissions” spewing from his gas-guzzling performance cars.

“Hello Greta Thunberg,” Tate wrote. ‘I have 33 cars. My Bugatti has a w16 8.0L quad-turbo. My TWO competitive Ferrari 812s have 6.5L v12s. This is just the beginning. Please provide your email address so I can send you a complete list of my collection of cars and their huge emissions.’

Thunberg delivered a brutal response in a tweet to her 4.9 million followers yesterday, saying: ‘Yes please enlighten me. Email me at smalld***energy@getalife.com.’

The activist rose to fame at the age of 15 for her work to combat the global ‘climate emergency’ and has met with a number of world leaders.

His arrest came after he posted a video of himself mocking Greta Thunberg, who is an environmental activist, and posing with pizza boxes that he insisted not be recycled.

Tate was brutally humiliated by Thunberg after trying to troll her on Twitter. He regularly shares photos of himself traveling by private jet.

Tate then took the dispute to another level, posting a photo of himself smoking a cigar and bragging about the release of greenhouse gases.

“Obviously I’m a stranger to online controversy, it’s not something I do often,” Tate said.

He later ordered someone to bring him pizza and asked that the boxes not be recycled.

Tate then received two pizza boxes from someone off-camera and continued her bizarre tirade, accusing her of being part of a shadowy fictional conspiracy called the ‘matrix’, possibly in reference to the movie of the same name.

He said: ‘I’m not really mad at Greta, right, because she doesn’t realize she’s been programmed.

‘She doesn’t realize she’s a slave to the matrix. She thinks that she is doing well.

Tate was later arrested on human trafficking charges and Thunberg posted the iconic tweet mocking the influencer for not recycling his boxes.

“He’s making fun of Greta Thunberg and then he gets arrested right after,” Rogan said. ‘It’s kind of hilarious the way it happens. Like people were saying, that’s the biggest like…proper ‘L.’

Since then, the Tweet has received around 140 million views.

Victims who claimed to have been abused by Tate have since come forward.

Since then, two women have come forward claiming to be Tate’s victims.

One of the women alleges that he raped her, while the other claimed that he repeatedly strangled them both. Tate denied the allegations last night in a statement issued to Vice by his Romanian attorney.

According to a woman, who was 20 at the time, Tate used “emotional and physical” manipulation while running her webcam business in Luton in 2015.

She told Vice World News how she was allegedly regularly abused during her £15-an-hour shifts for Tate’s webcam business from a “dreary flat in Luton” and was strangled “at least five times”.

She said: ‘When I saw that he was arrested in Romania, I was shocked and didn’t know how to react. I cried. All I read is what I told the police. [at the time of the complaint].’

The second accuser, who was allegedly raped by Tate, added: “I have been very frustrated by the British police and judicial system for a long time, they could have prevented me from committing the exact same abuse on these women in Romania.”

“I hope and pray that he is finally arrested for his disgusting abuse and crimes against young women, and can finally exist without having to see and hear the person who demeaned and raped me on the internet.”
