Joe Jonas took the stage at the Marquis Theater in New York City on Friday night to perform a sold-out show with his band, the Jonas Brothers.
Then, after quickly moving through the crowd outside the venue, the 33-year-old musician stopped to help a fan who had fallen to the ground.
The father-of-two was accompanied by his wife Sophie Turner, with whom he attended the Vanity Fair Oscar party last week, when he paused to care for a woman who lost her balance.
It happened after his brothers Nick and Kevin had already passed through the crowd, escorted by police and other security elements.
At the time, Joe had been signing autographs and then posed for a photo with the fan who fell out after making sure she was okay.

In images captured by TMZ the woman’s partner could be heard yelling, ‘Is that my girlfriend in the [ground]you are screwed?’
While being told by an authoritative man to “calm down,” Joe calmly helped the person to their feet.
He was dressed in a yellow patterned shirt with his curly dark hair parted in the middle.
Sophie was standing behind him, dressed in a white fur coat, her red hair flowing around her face.
After making sure the fan was okay, the couple continued on with their night and headed to dinner at Bond 45 with Joe’s brothers.
Nick and Kevin were joined by their wives Priyanka Chopra and Danielle Jonas, making the outing a triple date.
On Saturday night, the band will complete their five-night Broadway residency.
Since earlier this week, they’ve been performing back-to-back, with each night featuring one of their hit albums.
