Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner have an ‘ironclad prenup’ and will only split profits from their ‘marital home’… after singer filed for divorce
Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner will most likely not argue about their money during their divorce, as the couple has a “rock-solid prenup.”
The Jonas Brothers star, 34, officially filed for divorce from The Game of Thrones alum, 27, on Tuesday after four years of marriage and two children.
But it seems that because of their “ironclad prenuptial agreement” that they signed “weeks before they got married,” divorce finances should be easy, according to The blast.
Jonas will keep all of his music royalties, while Turner will keep the money she earned from her acting career.
Both are allowed to keep any property they acquired before marriage, and they only have to share the profits from their matrimonial home.

The couple recently sold their mansion in Miami, which they just bought last year.
Both Sophie and Joe also retain the rights to their image and likeness, as well as any “business related to their celebrity status.”
The only unknowns at the moment are the couple’s custody and child support, regarding their three-year-old daughter Willa and their one-year-old daughter, whose name they have not disclosed, which will be decided by the judge.
The amount of child support is determined by their monthly salaries and who earns the most money.
This can also be renegotiated if one party starts earning more money in the future.
Joe has been busy touring with his brothers and bandmates, Nick, 30, and Kevin Jonas, 35.
The Jonas Brothers 2023 tour kicked off August 15 at TD Garden in Boston and concludes October 14 at the Kaseya Center in Miami.
While Joe is on tour with his band, Sophie has been filming the ITVX drama Joan in Britain since May.
The star has transformed herself into vintage looks for her starring role in the drama, which depicts the life of notorious British jewel thief Joan Hannington.

Jonas has officially filed for divorce from Turner after four years of marriage, stating in the paperwork that their relationship is “irretrievably broken.”
Joe filed the paperwork to end his marriage in a Miami Dade County courtroom hours after it was revealed that he had hired a divorce attorney.
And it was Turner’s lifestyle that reportedly caused him to file, new reports show.
The actress is said to “like to party,” which caused a clash with the musician, who is more of a housemate.
‘She likes to party; he likes to stay at home. They have very different lifestyles,” a source revealed TMZ.
Court documents obtained by DailyMail.com show that Jonas has stated his marriage to Turner, with whom he has two children, is “irretrievably broken” – and outlines the former couple’s plans to share custody of their daughters .
The paperwork lists Willa by her initials, WJ, and references their other daughter’s name, citing her as DJ
In the request for dissolution of the marriage, Jonas’ lawyer states: ‘It is in the interest of the minor children that the parties share parental responsibility.’
Jonas “respectfully” requests in the documents that he and Turner “create a parenting plan” and a “timeshare schedule,” with Willa and DJ’s primary residence being Miami, Florida, where he and Turner had lived.
Party lifestyle: The reason for the breakup was reportedly due to Sophie’s lifestyle: ‘She likes to party; he likes to stay at home. They have very different lifestyles,” a source told TMZ
The documents also state that the parties “entered into a valid and enforceable prenuptial agreement” on April 29, 2019 — days before they tied the knot in Las Vegas.
Jonas’ lawyer has not included the prenuptial agreement in the divorce petition to “protect the privacy rights of both parties,” but the documents further suggest he has no plans to file for child support from Turner, stating: “Both parties have ability to provide support for the minor children and both of them should be expected to contribute to the support of the minor children.’
Jonas is being represented in the divorce by West Palm Beach-based attorney Thomas J. Sasser, while Turner’s business manager, Carrie Malcolm, is listed in the paperwork as her main point of contact.
Sasser is in demand as a lawyer to the stars and was previously hired to handle Tiger Woods’ high-profile divorce from his wife Elin Nordegren in 2010. The Swedish model received a $100 million settlement from the professional golfer.
Sasser, a managing partner at Florida-based law firm Sasser, Cestero & Roy, also represented NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon during his divorce from his wife, model Brooke Sealey, in 2003. He was reportedly hired by Gisele Bundchen during her divorce from NFL star Tom Brady last October.
Jonas’ decision to hire Sasser comes after he was pictured on Aug. 11 not wearing his wedding ring.
However, for a performance with his brothers in Austin, Texas, on September 3, he was firmly on his finger again and Turner would be at the concert.

The couple, who first started dating in 2016 after being introduced by mutual friends, got engaged a year later and flaunted their upcoming nuptials on Instagram with similar captions like “I said yes” and “She said yes.”
Jonas and Turner tied the knot two years after getting engaged in two ceremonies – the first, an intimate private affair in Las Vegas with a second, grander wedding in Paris, and seemed like a perfectly happy couple.
However, despite the perfect public image the two projected, problems had been brewing behind the scenes for months, according to the newspaper. TMZ.
Sources told the outlet that the couple have had “serious problems” behind the scenes.
