Joe Burrow gives cryptic comment over SI model Olivia Ponton as he breaks silence on home burglary
Joe Burrow has broken his silence after his home was broken into on Monday night, saying his “privacy has been violated in more ways than one.”
After the burglary, this became apparent from police documents that were seen by TMZ that Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Olivia Ponton — and not Burrow’s longtime girlfriend Olivia Holzmacher — was the one who called the police from his home during the burglary.
Burrow – who played against the Cowboys in Dallas during the burglary – told reporters on Wednesday ‘… there is already much more available than I would like and I would like to share that.’
The 28-year-old Bengals star added that his lack of privacy was “one of my least favorite parts” of being a pro athlete.
“That has been difficult for me throughout my career, I am still learning, but I understand that this is the life we choose. [But it] doesn’t make it any easier.’
Burrow appeared visibly upset as he answered questions about the incident, declining to comment further when asked if he was concerned about the security of his home.

Burrow has been in a relationship with Olivia Holzmacher (left) since his college days.
Ponton allegedly told officers she noticed “a shattered bedroom window and a ransacked room” when she arrived at the property.
It’s unclear why Ponton — who has nearly eight million followers on TikTok — was at his home, although Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office documents indicate she is “employed by Mr. Burrow.”
According to TMZ, Ponton was heard saying during a phone call, “Someone broke into my house… It’s like it’s all messed up.”
As the burglary drama played out in Ohio, Burrow helped the Bengals to a late 27-20 victory over the Cowboys at AT&T Stadium.
Earlier this year, the NFL issued a security alert to teams and players after recent burglaries at the homes of Kansas City Chiefs duo Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.
Burrow has (or had) a relationship with Holzmacher since his college days at Ohio State, with the pair first going public with their romance in 2017.
Last year, former Bengals cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones even claimed the couple was engaged during an appearance on ESPN’s The Pat McAfee show, though neither party ever confirmed this.
Eagle-eyed fans also speculated that Olivia appeared to be wearing an engagement ring around the same time.
However, Burrow and Holzmacher have not been seen together in public since the latter shared a photo of them in January, sparking online rumors that they may have gone their separate ways.
Ponton gave a clue to her potential relationship status in an interview published Tuesday.
“I think everyone has a ‘revenge era’ at some point in their lives,” she said Cosmopolitan.
‘Although I’m not in mine now – I’m very happy and content – about two years ago, I definitely went through that phase.’
Neither Burrow nor Ponton have yet commented on why she was at his home on Monday.
