Joe Biden mocks the PRESS and says journalists “usually” ask irrelevant questions “that have nothing to do with what we’re talking about”

  • President Joe Biden lashed out at the press during his meeting Wednesday with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
  • As reporters were escorted from the room, several fired questions about Israel at the two leaders.
  • “I’m surprised they didn’t ask me about the auto strike. They usually ask questions about things that have nothing to do with what we’re talking about,” Biden said.

President Joe Biden lashed out at the press during his meeting Wednesday with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

As reporters were escorted from the room, several threw Israel-related questions at the two leaders.

Biden has been in New York since Sunday evening to participate in the United Nations General Assembly and used the trip to raise money for his re-election campaign.

“I’m surprised they didn’t ask me about the auto strike. They usually ask questions about things that have nothing to do with what we’re talking about,” Biden was heard telling the Israeli leader as reporters were kicked out of the room.

At the next event – this time a meeting with Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva – reporters asked Biden about the ongoing United Auto Workers strike, and he refused to answer their questions.

“I’m surprised they didn’t ask me about the auto strike. They usually ask questions about things that have nothing to do with what we’re talking about,” President Joe Biden (R) told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu (L) as reporters were escorted out of their meeting.

President Joe Biden (R) was later asked about the ongoing United Auto Workers strike during his meeting with Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (L) on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly United Wednesday.

The press dig comes as Biden has remained tight-lipped for six days about his son Hunter Biden’s gun indictment.

At a White House event Friday, Biden ignored a question about whether he would pardon his son.

At that day’s press briefing, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said the answer was no.

“I have already answered this question and I have been very clear. I said no,” she said during the briefing.

She previously answered the question in July, before Delaware U.S. Attorney David Weiss was elevated to special counsel.

Weiss was assigned to investigate Hunter’s overseas business dealings, his taxes and his allegations that the first son lied on a form about his crack addiction to obtain a gun.

The charges filed against Hunter Thursday were gun-related.

Later Friday, Biden traveled to Wilmington, Delaware, where his only public appearance was to attend Saturday’s church services.

He didn’t even look in the direction of reporters when one shouted a question, again asking whether Biden would pardon his son.

On Sunday, Biden returned to the White House and answered a question about the impeachment inquiry that Republicans opened a week ago Tuesday.

The president laughed and wished them “lots of luck” as he walked across the South Lawn, ignoring Hunter’s requests.

Biden has not taken questions from the press since arriving in New York on Sunday evening.

He celebrated his granddaughter Finnegan’s birthday – throwing another birthday party in the process – at swanky Il Cantinori, alongside his daughter Ashley and first lady Jill Biden.

On Monday, Biden headlined two fundraisers for his re-election campaign, including one featuring Broadway’s biggest stars.

There, he denounced former President Donald Trump and “MAGA Republicans,” saying they were “determined to destroy American democracy” and “bow” to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The president delivered a speech Tuesday to the United Nations General Assembly and took part in a series of meetings and a reception at the Met.

After his meeting with Lula on Wednesday, he will head two additional fundraisers before returning to Washington for a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Thursday.
