‘Joe Biden: Just like your grandpa only worse, much worse’ – Trump super PAC ridicules president

It opens just like any other campaign video. The Stars and Stripes flutter to the sound of majestic music, before transitioning into wild horses galloping freely.

“Joe Biden loves America,” the narrator says, “like a grandfather who loves his grandchildren.”

Then it all derails with a clip of then-Vice President Biden trying to plant a kiss on Senator Chris Coons’ teenage daughter in 2015. She awkwardly leans away.

Within hours of Biden announcing his re-election campaign on Tuesday, opponents flooded the field with attack ads.

But a super-PAC aligned with former President Donald Trump has gone with a satirical take, portraying Biden as “America’s grandpa,” complete with awkward kisses, crawling yarns, and afternoon naps.

“Joe showers us with affection,” reads the commentary in the one-minute video produced by MAGA Inc, “sharing wacky stories.”

It’s about Biden giving a speech at a swimming pool renaming in 2017, in which he discussed how his leg hair would turn blonde in the sun.

“And the kids came up and reached into the pool and rubbed my leg…”

The video continues with Grandpa Biden’s commentary… “And likes to take naps,” with a clip of a jet-lagged president falling asleep at the COP26 climate summit in Glasgow, Scotland, in 2021.

“With your support, Joe Biden can continue to be America’s grandpa,” it reads, with the famous video of the then-Vice President whispering in the ear of Stephanie Carter, wife of then-Secretary of Defense Ash Carter.

The effect is in line with conservative efforts to label Biden as “Creepy Joe,” the head sniffer.

And it shows how Biden’s opponents will use his age against him in the 2024 campaign.

“Joe Biden for President,” it ends. “Just like your grandpa, but worse…much worse.”

MAGA Inc’s video also shows the moment Biden fell asleep in 2021 at a major international climate summit in Glasgow, Scotland.

Biden’s announcement creates a potential repeat of the 2020 election. With nearly 18 months to go, Donald Trump is in polling position to secure the Republican nomination.

He quickly attacked Biden’s record on Tuesday.

Thanks to Joe Biden’s socialist spending catastrophe, American households are being decimated by the worst inflation in half a century. Banks are going bankrupt,” he said.

“Our currency is crashing and the dollar will soon cease to be the world standard, which will be our biggest defeat in over 200 years.”

He also denounced Biden’s leadership on the global stage.

Russia is working with China. Iran is days away from a nuclear bomb — not even conceivable,” he said.

“Ukraine has been devastated by an invasion that would never have happened had I been president — and Joe Biden has led us to the brink of World War III.”
