Will the Democrats now come clean about Biden’s health woes? Top doctor claimed president has neurodegenerative condition before he stepped out of the race

Claims that President Joe Biden has a degenerative brain condition are back in the spotlight after he withdrew from the 2024 presidential race on Sunday.

The alleged diagnosis was made by Dr. Tom Pitts, a leading neurologist, who said it was a “fact” based on Biden’s notable blunders during a disastrous debate performance in June.

Biden, 81, struggled to answer questions, fell silent and appeared unfocused.

This came after years of allegations about his poor health, including forgetfulness and falls, and his closest associates were said to be keeping his health problems secret.

But the president continued his path of self-destruction when he referred to Vice President Kamala Harris as “Vice President Trump” during a press conference last week. He has now endorsed her for the Democratic ticket.

“His motor symptoms are degenerating,” Pitts said. “He has Parkinson’s. That’s a fact. He has brain degeneration. Show me the MRI. Show me he doesn’t have that. Put your money where your mouth is. He absolutely does.”

Parkinsonism is a collective term for degenerative brain disorders, which also includes Parkinson’s disease.

Biden resigned on Sunday after weeks of questions about his fitness to be president following his disastrous June 27 debate with Trump.

The president was often seen in split screen, with his mouth open and a look that seemed miles away.

As the chairman stood at the podium speaking, he stumbled, froze, lost the thread of his thoughts and mumbled answers to questions from the moderator.

Biden’s shocking decision was revealed in a one-page letter promising to complete his term and shortly after posting a follow-up tweet endorsing the vice president Kamala Harris as his replacement.

“It has been the greatest honor of my life to serve as your president,” Biden wrote in a letter posted to his X account on Sunday.

“And while it was my intention to be re-elected,” he continued, “I believe it is in the best interests of my party and the country that I step down and focus solely on fulfilling the duties of my president for the remainder of my term.”

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre strongly denies that Biden is receiving treatment for Parkinson’s disease beyond his regular checkups.

Jean-Pierre confirmed that Biden had been examined by a neurologist three times, but declined to say why a specialist had visited the White House eight times in eight months, citing privacy and security concerns.

Pitts, a Columbia University graduate and four-time board-certified New York specialist, was asked during an interview with NBC for his thoughts on the president’s condition.

Pitts does not mention in his various online profiles that he is an expert in Parkinson’s disease.

He describes his expertise on LinkedIn as focusing on headaches, multiple sclerosis and other brain disorders, but not Parkinson’s disease.

He regularly speaks to the media about health issues in the news, including the illness of singer Celine Dion. conflict with stiff person syndrome and possible neurological influence from Covid-19.

He shockingly claimed that Biden “definitely” has Parkinson’s disease and that he sees people like him working in his clinic “20 times a day.” He even said he could have diagnosed the president “from across the mall” if he had been watching him.

“It’s ironic because he has exactly the classic features of neurodegeneration: difficulty finding words. And that’s not just ‘Oh, I couldn’t find the right word,’ but it’s due to degeneration of the word retrieval mechanism.”

Pitts has never personally examined Biden, but said what he saw during the debate is very common in people with the condition.

“You notice when he turns, it’s kind of an end block turn; it’s not a quick turn,” Pitts said. NBC News.

“That’s one of the hallmarks of Parkinson’s; the stiffness and bradykinesia, slow movements. And he has that hallmark, especially with the low voice that they called a cold; hypophonia, a little monotone voice like that over time is a hallmark of Parkinsonism. I could have diagnosed him from across the mall.”

He also made it clear that Biden’s historic struggles with overcoming his stutter as a young man have absolutely nothing to do with what Pitts believes he is experiencing now.

“This is not a palate problem or a speech disorder,” he said. “And then there’s the stiffness and the monotone voice.”

Pitts, who says he is a Democrat, said the condition is easy to diagnose even from a distance. “His motor symptoms are getting worse,” Pitts said bluntly. “He has Parkinson’s. That’s a fact.”

The White House has conducted damage control after reports that Joe Biden’s personal physician met with a leading neurologist and Parkinson’s specialist at the White House.

There has been much speculation about Biden’s poor health, which has been in question since his disastrous first debate with Donald Trump. Spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre added fuel to the fire by claiming that the president has already seen a neurologist three times.

Kevin O’Connor is a movement disorders specialist at Walter Reed Medical Center in Maryland.

O’Connor brought a letter with the consent of both Biden and Cannard, and confirmed that Cannard was the neurologist who has examined the president at each of his three medical exams since taking office.

But most of Cannard’s visits to the White House were in connection with his position as a specialist in the White House Medical Department, where he spent 12 years treating patients with a variety of neurological problems in the White House, O’Connor said.
