Joe Biden tells Trump to ‘get a life’ and makes strange Netanyahu joke in bizarre end to Hurricane Milton briefing
Joe Biden mumbled through a public update on Hurricane Milton’s response, awkwardly ending the briefing with an attack on his predecessor and a joke about the Israeli-Hamas war.
The president told Donald Trump to “get a life” as he criticized the former president and his allies during the brief briefing for spreading disinformation about the federal government’s response to the simultaneous storms.
“It’s bizarre,” Biden said of claims online that FEMA is providing only $750 in aid and will try to seize Americans’ land if they contact the government for help.
As the president wrapped up the briefing, he was asked if he had spoken to Trump.
“Are you kidding me?” the 81-year-old chuckled awkwardly.

Asked if he plans to talk to Trump, Biden, without turning around and while standing halfway across the room, said, “No.”
Before that moment, Biden made a very off-color joke when a reporter tried to ask an off-topic question about the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas terrorists operating out of Gaza.
“What has Prime Minister Netanyahu told you about his plans for retaliation?” posed a reporter.
“He’s coming to help with the storm,” Biden clapped back.

The White House revealed that Biden spoke with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for 30 minutes about the conflict, but did not share specific details of their conversation.
As reporters continue to press for answers about the ongoing conflict, Biden and his team focused on continuing Thursday’s discussion on rescue, recovery and relief plans for Hurricanes Milton and Helene.
And the president wanted to make sure Americans don’t listen to what Trump says about the federal response.
