Joe Alwyn leaves his hotel with a glam mystery female pal ahead of the Prada show during Milan Fashion Week after breaking silence on Taylor Swift split

Joe Alwyn walked side by side with a female friend as he left his hotel in Milan, Italy, during the city’s biennial fashion week on Sunday afternoon.

The 33-year-old actor looked dapper in a purple turtleneck and oversized blazer as he left his accommodation to attend the Prada fashion show.

Conversations With Friends star Joe was joined by an unidentified woman, who led him by her hand as they walked to a car outside the hotel.

Their appearance comes shortly after he broke his silence about his relationship and split with ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift in a recent interview.

During the outing, Joe styled his look with jeans and square-toed shoes, while accessorizing with Wayfarer-style sunglasses.

Meanwhile, his glamorous girlfriend was dressed in a white top with wide leg jeans and a jacket worn over her shoulders.

She wore her long blonde hair down and opted for soft make-up, while she completed the outfit with a black bag and shoes.

The next day, Joe was spotted out on the town at the prestigious fashion event, looking stylish in a navy blue T-shirt and Prada jeans.

The handsome star flashed a bright smile and waved at cameras, shielding his eyes with the same pair of sunglasses.

Joe made a low-key arrival in Milan, Italy ahead of Fashion Week on Sunday, after breaking his silence on his shock split.

He shielded his face with a baseball cap and sunglasses as he arrived at his hotel and chatted with a group of people outside.

Speaking about his past relationship for the first time this week, Joe, who is notoriously private about his personal life, described his time with the pop star, 34, as “long, loving” and “completely committed” in an interview with The Sunday Times style.

After arriving in Italy’s fashion capital, he was all smiles and opted for a casual oversized cardigan and a plain white T-shirt.

Joe completed his relaxed ensemble with navy blue pants and a pair of chunky sneakers.

The Mary Queen of Scots star discussed his spat from global superstar Taylor, 14 months after it was first revealed.

When asked if he had listened to her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department, which is said to be about their breakup, he said: “When I think about what I was going to say, I would think and hope that everyone would remember can empathize… This isn’t a direct answer to your question, but I’m just thinking about what I want to talk about.

“I hope everyone can empathize and understand the difficulties that come with the end of a long, loving, fully committed relationship of over six and a half years,” Joe continued.

The Conversations with Friends star then admitted that the end of their long-term relationship was “difficult to navigate.”

Taylor has yet to speak publicly about the split, but has since moved on with NFL star Travis Kelce.

Her only comments come through song, with several songs on The Tortured Poets Department believed to be about Joe.

In one song, LOML, Taylor heartbreakingly sings, “I wish we could remember how we had almost everything….”

Last April it was confirmed that Swift and Alwyn had officially gone their separate ways after dating for six years. The singer has since moved on with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

Notably, when she attended the Grammy Awards earlier this month, she won the awards for both Best Pop Vocal Album and Album of the Year for Midnights.

The star accepted her first award of the night for Pop Vocal Album and notably announced that she would be dropping her next album titled The Tortured Poets Department.

Following the surprise revelation, fans were quick to believe that the album’s title referred to Alwyn.

In 2022, the actor explained that he was part of a WhatsApp group chat with close friends Paul Mescal and Andrew Scott called The Tortured Man Club.

Following the album announcement, a source told DailyMail.com that Alwyn believes it would be “shady” if Taylor dissed him on The Tortured Poets Department.

“Joe hasn’t said a word about Taylor or their split and has completely respected her,” an insider told DailyMail.com exclusively. “There’s no denying that the name of her upcoming album is a reference to Joe’s WhatsApp group chat.”

The source continued, “Taylor knocked him for the name of this when they were together. She didn’t want people to think it had anything to do with her, so when he spoke out about it, she obviously felt bad about it.”

The insider continued, “Joe has no reason to believe she will diss him or their relationship yet.

‘She writes about her past using code and reference points. It could be that she’s thinking about their time together and he’s hoping it’s nothing more.

“If it’s a diss album, that’s dark. He helped her write songs on her last album, so it will be a real shock for him if she talks about their breakup because it’s something he hasn’t talked about at all.”

The source ended, “No matter what she does, he still won’t respond because he has removed himself from her story and is very happy that he has.”
