And it’s a busy time in Jodie’s career, as she also stars in White Noise, a 2022 postmodern apocalyptic black comedy film.

The movie, which was supposed to be released in December, was written and directed by Noah Baumbach, based on the 1985 novel of the same name by Don DeLillo.

The plot follows college professor Jack Gladney and his family as their suburban lives are turned upside down when a nearby chemical leak triggers “The Airborne Toxic Event,” releasing a noxious black cloud that forces the family to evacuate.

Amandla Stenberg has been confirmed as a cast member, but no details have been released about any of their characters yet.

The show was first announced in April 2020, when director Leslye Headland came on board to direct the series.

It was described as a “female-oriented series set in a different part of the Star Wars timeline than other projects.” The project will be shot in London later this year.
