Jodie Turner-Smith is seen for FIRST TIME since ex Joshua Jackson went public with Lupita Nyong’o rebound romance

Jodie Turner-Smith was spotted in Los Angeles for the first time since her ex Joshua Jackson went public with his new romance with Lupita Nyong'o.

On Thursday, the British star, 37, ran errands with her three-year-old daughter Juno – who she shares with Joshua – in Los Angeles.

The mother-daughter duo rocked matching bright green knit cardigans with cute watermelon appliqués.

Jodie shocked fans when she filed for divorce from the Fringe star in October after four years of marriage.

The day before, Joshua, 45, was photographed holding hands with Lupita, 40, just hours after DailyMail.com exclusively confirmed they were dating.

Jodie seemed to be having a great time with her only child.

The Neon Demon actress appeared makeup-free and wore black designer sunglasses.

She paired her vibrant cardigan with a white T-shirt and baggy blue jeans.

Jodie gave birth to the little girl in April 2020 and her name was initially believed to be 'Janie'.

But Jodie's divorce papers filed in October revealed the child's name is actually Juno Rose Diana Jackson.

On Wednesday, Joshua and Lupita put on a screen full of PDAs for the first time since the dating rumors began.

They were first seen enjoying a Janelle Monáe concert together in October, shortly after their respective splits were announced.

Lupita broke up with her boyfriend of almost a year, Selema Masekela, at the end of October.

She claimed it was the result of “deception” that caused her “tremendous pain.”

Sources told DailyMail.com that Lupita and Joshua's friendship had blossomed into a 'romance'.

“It has slowly become a romance between the two,” the source said. “They've been great friends for a long time and Josh didn't want to ruin that.

'But as they've started hanging out more and dealing with their breakups, dealing with the divorce together has added a new level to their friendship. Now it's a physical relationship. They are a couple.'

DailyMail.com reached out to representatives for Joshua and Lupita for comment but did not hear back.

DailyMail.com's exclusive confirmation came shortly after Lupita and Joshua were spotted picking up groceries at the expensive Erewhon point in Los Angeles.

It was the first time they were seen since their concert outing in October, which took place just one day before Lupita confirmed her split from Selema, 52, – and a month after Joshua split from Jodie, with whom he shares daughter Juno, three .

At the time of their outing, a source explained to DailyMail.com that the couple was trying to take it slow as they worked through their recent breakups.

They revealed, “Joshua has a type and Lupita definitely fits that type. But they are just friends, it's still a bit early for Joshua to start dating again.

“Could he be an item with Lupita down the road? Without a doubt…They are both still going through it after their recent breakup and still looking for healing.”

Sources told DailyMail.com that Joshua was 'heartbroken' over his split from Jodie, who filed for divorce after almost four years, citing 'irreconcilable differences'.

The actor was not “enthusiastic” about the end of his marriage, but insiders made it clear that there was no foul play and that their union had simply “taken its course.”

Meanwhile, Lupita has been more vocal about her 'season of heartbreak' following the break-up of her relationship with the TV presenter and sports commentator – who she started dating in 2022.

The Oscar winner waxed lyrical about a 'break-up' on Instagram, claiming it was the result of 'cheating' by her unnamed lover.

She wrote: “There are much more important things going on in the world right now, and my thoughts are with those who are suffering deeply.

Joshua and his ex Jodie first sparked divisive rumors in September 2022 when they unfollowed each other on social media – after previously sharing several loved-up posts.

They then followed up again, with Joshua shaking off speculation while talking about his wife in a conversation with E! News.

The couple started dating in 2018 – two years after Dr. Death star split from actress Diane Kruger, who has a four-year-old daughter with The Walking Dead star Norman Reedus.

“She is undeniably one of the most beautiful women in the world,” he said. “And she always kills it when she's on the red carpet. That is truly a miracle to see.

“But let me tell you, there's nothing like waking up in the morning, opening my eyes and seeing her face in the morning.”

Joshua and Jodie married in August 2019 and welcomed their daughter Juno in April 2020.

Last month, the former couple agreed to joint custody of the youngster.

The Fatal Attraction star responded to Jodie's divorce filing in legal documents reviewed by The Blast, agreeing that they share “irreconcilable differences.”

Jodie had listed September 13, 2023, but Joshua claimed they broke up 17 days later on September 30. The difference is not expected to affect the progress of the ongoing divorce case.

Joshua said he also agreed with Jodie, who has starred in films such as After Yang, Without Remorse and Murder Mystery 2, about immediately following the terms of the prenuptial agreement they entered into.

However, the Vancouver-born actor, who has appeared in Cruel Intentions, Gossip and One Week, said he had a difference of opinion with his ex over the stated separation date.

Famed divorce attorney Laura Wasser represents Jodie. The actress has asked a private judge to oversee their settlement, citing privacy concerns.
