But actress Jodie Turner-Smith let the cat out of the bag and confirmed she’s joining the cast, and from the looks of it, all it took was one phone call from one of the stars she admires.
While attending this year’s BAFTAs, the Peterborough, England native announced that she’s signed on to do the series. after actor Ncuti Gatwa, who has been among the main cast playing Eric Effiong, called her to pitch the idea.

“First of all, all my scenes were with Ncuti Gatwa who, I DIE for him, and he’s my favorite character on the show,” he said of the actor, who was originally from Kigali, Rwanda before immigrating to the UK.
