Jodie Foster makes rare appearance with wife Alexandra Hedison as the two step out for lunch in LA

Jodie Foster was spotted out and about with her wife Alexandra Hedison out and about in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

The longtime couple, ages 60 and 53 respectively, bundled up on an unusually gloomy day for lunch in West Hollywood.

The Flightplan star wore a navy blue beanie with gray trim on her head, with strands of her short blonde hair sticking out from underneath.

The silver screen star wore no makeup and wore a pair of thin-rimmed glasses.

Jodie changed into a short black double-breasted coat that she wore over a gray hoodie.

She was wearing light beige pants and was carrying a large red utility fanny pack for the outing.

Finishing off the casual and comfortable look, she walked around in a pair of dark sneakers with a white platform sole.

For her part, Alexandra, a photographer, zipped up a dark vest she was wearing over a green sweater.

She added a tight, neck-hugging orange scarf with a ribbed design in the shape of a horizontal tube.

The former actress and director added khaki cargo pants, accenting the ensemble with distressed sneakers.

Her graying brunette pixie haircut was styled into a side part and cut neatly above her ears.

The couple married in 2014 after a year of dating in a private ceremony in April.

A source once said People about the under-the-radar couple, “They’re very secretive around people they don’t know.”

The source added: “But when they’re together, it can be like they’re in their own world.”

Alexandra was previously in a relationship with comedian Ellen DeGeneres.

Jodie, meanwhile, was in a relationship with Cydney Bernard from 1993 to 2003, and the former couple share two children, Charles, 24, and Kit, 20.
