Jodie Fellows: Mystery surrounds the death of a market trader who died after arriving at hospital with serious injuries
The sudden death of a woman who died just hours after arriving at hospital with serious injuries will be investigated by homicide detectives.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Jodie Fellows, who died on Thursday at Collie Hospital, about a two-hour drive south of Perth.
At least 10 detectives combed her southwest home on Friday for clues in an attempt to determine what could have caused her significant injuries.
After walking through the quiet neighborhood, police left the home with several large brown paper bags of evidence.
Police said while they would be approaching the death from ‘all angles’, the Collie community should not worry about any ongoing danger.

Ms Fellows (pictured) lived with her partner in their south-west home, which was combed on Friday by a team of 10 detectives who left with several bags of evidence.
“It’s not something the residents of Collie need to worry about,” Detective Senior Sergeant Stephen Cleal said.
“We have no safety concerns related to this matter.”
Two women were seen speaking to detectives on Friday as they searched the area, with police confirming a man in his 40s was assisting with their investigation.
It is understood the man was known to Mrs Fellows.
Snr. Sergeant Cleal said no charges had been laid in the early stages of the investigation.

This was said by a resident who wished to remain anonymous The Western Australia that he heard loud noises coming from Mrs. Fellow’s house on Wednesday evening.
The man said that while loud noises were not uncommon in the area, he had never heard such noises before.
“(There were) two loud bangs like a gunshot late (Wednesday night),” he said.
Ms Fellows is said to have worked at the popular Bunbury Farmers Market.
