Jock Zonfrillo’s widow Lauren Fried shares touching photos of the late chef playing with his son
Lauren Fried has shared moving images of her late husband Jock Zonfrillo enjoying the company of their baby boy.
In the photos, shared on Jock’s Instagram account that Lauren has taken over, the MasterChef Australia star and his son Alfie, six, can be seen playing in a museum.
The father and son lay on the floor in one frame, with Jock pointing to the ceiling as Alfie watched.
In a second photo, the Scottish chef sat across from his son as the pair exchanged funny expressions.
The images were captioned, “If Jock had to be in a museum, at least he made it fun.”

The MasterChef Australia judge, who died on May 1 at the age of 46, is survived by his third wife, Lauren, and his four children: adult daughters Ava and Sophia, from his first two marriages, and six-year-old Alfie and two – year-old Isla, with Fried.
He left behind a number of completed or nearly completed projects, and in a post on Jock’s Instagram earlier this month, his widow questioned whether it would be appropriate to release them to the public.
Lauren also shared how her grief was still raw a month after Jock’s sudden and tragic passing.
“It’s been a month since we lost Jock, and I drew a line in the sand thinking that after a month I’d turn some corner. That obviously didn’t happen,” she began.

Lauren went on to thank fans “all over the world” for the “overwhelming” support she had experienced.
“I really wish he knew how loved he was, that he knew the impact he had on so many people,” Lauren told fans.
Lauren said she and Jock had “worked hard” on his social media, but she didn’t know what would be “appropriate” to share on his Instagram account after his death.
“He had behind-the-scenes photos and interviews of MasterChef, books, a fashion range, he ages spirits at a distillery in Tasmania,” she explained, visibly emotional.
“He has a TV show he filmed with the family in Italy last year,” Lauren continued, before adding that she would be conducting social media polls to determine what fans want to see in the future.

Jock was buried in a private funeral Sydney in May surrounded by 200 family and friends.
The media personality was slated for several publicity assignments for season 15 of MasterChef when he passed away suddenly.
Daily Mail Australia can reveal that when police entered the hotel room to conduct a welfare check, officers believed Zonfrillo had died of natural causes and found nothing to suggest otherwise.
No drug paraphernalia were also found in the hotel room, sources said.
In the wake of the tragic news, Zonfrillo’s fellow Masterchef judges Melissa Leong and Andy Allen withdrew from all media appearances to promote the cooking show’s return.
