Joan told Saga Magazine“I remember going through puberty when I was 14 and hating the way my body changed.

“I hated everything that happened. So I rebelled and wore boy clothes. I wore corduroys and scraped my hair back. I even went to football games with my father.’

When asked if she’d changed her mind about wanting to be a boy, she said, “I think when I went on vacation to France around the age of 15,” she laughed, “When they found me!”

Since then, Joan has captured the attention of many desirable men, including her husband Percy Gibson, 57, whom she has been married to for 20 years.

She was first married to the late movie star Maxwell Reed in 1952.

The star then married British pop star Anthony in 1963, with whom she shares two children, Tara and Alexander, now 58 and 56.

The couple divorced after six years and she married her third husband Ron Kass in 1972. The two welcomed their daughter Katyana, 49, that same year.

Joan told Saga Magazine, “I remember going through puberty when I was 14 and hating the way my body was changing.”

The couple divorced in 1983 and Collins met her fourth husband, Scandinavian singer Peter Holm, at a party. They married in 1985, but separated two years later in 1987.

Joan – who will be celebrating her 90th birthday in just nine months – revealed that she still considers herself a 40-year-old.

The actress also claimed that age is irrelevant as her focus is on how she “looks, feels and behaves” and believes she asks a woman her age to be “extremely rude.”

She told the publication: “My mother’s generation never did it. But you know, people have been calling me an older woman since I was 38.

“I don’t think age matters, but how you look, feel and behave.”

Joan made her stage debut at age nine, trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, appeared in British films in 1951 and went to Hollywood in 1955 under contract with 20th Century Fox.

In 1981, she landed the role of Alexis Colby on the soap opera Dynasty, which made her an international superstar and earned her a 1982 Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Television Series – Drama.
