Dame Joan Collins looks unrecognizable in her sleek and straight new hair at a fancy dinner with friends.

Best known for her Hollywood glamor wherever she goes, Joan, 89, ditched her signature big, voluminous hair for an equally gorgeous straight style.

She posed for a picture with her close friends on Saturday night with her chocolate locks worn in a shiny beehive and a flawless face of makeup.

Her locks fell like a bouncy wave over her shoulders and she wore a black ruffled jacket and a black top.

As an accessory, she wore a statement silver pendant necklace that stood out from the all-black ensemble.

Her bright pink lip color stood out as she shone for a moment with her close friends before good food and a night out.

In the photo, her husband Percy Gibson, 58, was the parents of supermodel Cara Delevigne Pandora and Charles Delevigne, and writer Louise Fennell.

Several fans noticed the change in appearance, with one writing: ‘Joan you look so young x’, while another said: ‘Your hair looks fantastic like this.’

Her appearance comes after Joan recently admitted she “disliked” the way her body changed during puberty and was “rebellious” wearing boy clothes.

Joan told Saga Magazine, “I remember going through puberty at age 14 and hating the way my body was changing.

“I hated everything that happened. So I rebelled and wore boy clothes. I wore corduroys and scraped my hair back. I even went to football games with my father.’

When asked if she’d changed her mind about wanting to be a boy, she said, “I think when I went on vacation to France around the age of 15,” she laughed, “When they found me!”

Since then, Joan has captured the attention of many desirable men, including the handsome husband Percy.

Hollywood seeps:

She was first married to the late movie star Maxwell Reed in 1952.

The star then married British pop star Anthony in 1963, with whom she shares two children, Tara and Alexander, now 58 and 56.

The couple divorced after six years and she married her third husband Ron Kass in 1972. The two welcomed their daughter Katyana, 49, that same year.

The couple divorced in 1983 and Collins met her fourth husband, Scandinavian singer Peter Holm, at a party. They married in 1985, but separated two years later in 1987.

Former Dynasty actress and husband Percy celebrated his 58th birthday a few weeks ago.

She shared her 292,000 Instagram followers and wrote to her beloved Percy: ‘Wishing my wonderful beautiful husband a fantastic birthday full of surprises! I love you honey.’

Joan, who celebrated her 20th wedding anniversary to Percy with a lavish party in Claridges earlier this year, was taken to hospital in Monaco from St Tropez earlier this year after suffering a pinched nerve in her leg.
