Jimmy Fallon slammed for ‘barely concealing his contempt’ during awkward interview with viral stars Costco Guys

Jimmy Fallon has been accused by viewers of “barely” hiding “his disdain” during an interview with the Costco Guys on his late night talk show.

The 50-year-old host was joined by TikTok stars AJ, Big Justice and The Rizzler on Monday’s episode, with the trio excitedly talking about the phrases they made famous in their viral social media videos.

But the segment was noticeably awkward, especially when Jimmy rudely cut off his guest Big Justice shortly after asking him to explain his infamous “Boom meter” assessment.

“You have something on your channel called the Boom meter. Can you explain how the Boom meter works, Big Justice?” the presenter had asked.

Big Justice responded, “So we did this: “boom or doom.” But everyone said, “You don’t punish,” blah, blah, blah. Right?

‘Well, we invented the boom meter because people rate things from one to ten. So, we said, it goes from one to five booms.

“If it’s good: four booms, okay: two booms, bad: one boom, amazing: five big booms.”

At that point, Big Justice, Father AJ, and The Rizzler were about to scream five punches at once, but Jimmy intervened to stop them.

“Okay,” Jimmy interrupted. “Yes, five bangs.”

He then moved the segment so his guests could rate Halloween candy with their tree rating.

Unimpressed viewers flooded social media where they called out Jimmy for his behavior.

Another said, “I’ve never hated Jimmy Fallon as much as I do right now.

“He doesn’t appreciate the joy or whimsy of the Costco Guys, or even The Rizzler.

“He cuts them off, he ignores the love they have to give to the world. I hope he goes to hell as soon as he takes his last breath.”

A third added: “I keep thinking about how much Jimmy Fallon hated the Costco boys.”

“I love how the guys at Costco are just having fun and Fallon is absolutely seething,” a fourth continued.

Others were a bit more understanding.

“If I were Jimmy I’d be so freaking annoyed I’d try to move on to the next guy,” one person said.

Echoing a similar sentiment, another said: ‘Of all the influencers out there, I think this family has to be the most annoying of them all.’

Father-and-son duo AJ and Big Justice – real names Andrew and Eric Befum – have taken the internet by storm with their Costco reviews, in which they approve or disapprove of products based on their boom rating.

The Rizzler, although not related to AJ and Big Justice, is also famous for his social media profile.

The third-grader – real name Christian Joseph – became popular on TikTok after uploading a video of himself dressed in a Black Panther costume.

He is also known for doing ‘the rizz face’, a move where he pouts and strokes his chin.

In June, it was confirmed that Jimmy had extended his contract to helm the NBC late-night talk show until 2028.

The news came almost a year after he was accused by 16 current and former employees of creating a “toxic work environment.”

Last September, they claimed to Rolling Stone that Jimmy was known for his “outbursts” and “hissy fits,” which left employees sobbing in “cry rooms,” causing several of them to have suicidal thoughts.
