Former US President Jimmy Carter has decided to receive hospice care and “spend what time he has left at home with his family” rather than further medical intervention, the Carter Center said Saturday.
He has the full support of his family and his medical team. The Carter family asks for privacy during this time and appreciates the concern shown by their many fans,’ the center said in a statement from the 98-year-old former president.
