Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler decided to make the injury worse by mocking Celtics center Al Horford’s party last night when they dominated Boston.
Back during Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals, Horford cleared a three-point shot and then turned to face the Miami team, took one knee and put his hands together to make a “T” shape as one would do when calling a timeout.
That came back to bite Horford – not only did Boston lose Game 1 123-116, but Miami’s Butler didn’t forget the gesture.
On Sunday night during Game 3 in Miami, when the Heat stepped on the Celtics’ neck, Butler replicated Horford’s gesture — staring at him the whole time.
Fan video captured the moment as Horford walked past Butler, saw his pose, and started jabbing at the All-NBA second-teamer.

Horford had a bad night – as did the rest of the Celtics, with the team losing to Miami by 26
Boston has its back against the wall – staring at an insurmountable deficit
It was a terrible night for Boston – the team shot 39 percent from the floor and 26 percent from 3-point range while flipping the ball six times more than Miami.
Jayson Tatum led the way for the Celtics in points, but managed only a paltry 14 on a 6-18 shooting line.
Horford was one of only three Boston players to hit more than one three-point shot. But the normally reliable post threat only managed a single rebound and no blocks in 19 minutes of play as Celtics coach Joe Mazzulla used 12 players in the game.
Butler didn’t shoot much better than Tatum, but nevertheless dropped 16 points, eight rebounds and six assists as Miami’s role players carried most of the load.
It has put the Heat in a league leading position – leading 3-0 in the Eastern Conference Finals and destined to reach the next stage as no team in NBA history has ever come back from a 3-0 deficit.
Miami looks set to put the series away on Tuesday night when they host Game 4 at 8:30 PM ET on TNT.
