Jimmy Barnes is all smiles when the legendary rocker hosts a barbecue dinner at home after recovering from major hip surgery.
Jimmy Barnes has organized his first barbecue after his recent hip operation.
The legendary rocker was positively glowing on Thursday when he posted photos of the event on Facebook.
Equipped with tongs in hand and wearing a chef’s apron, Jimmy’s first attempt at grilling fresh sardines turned out to be a success.

Jimmy would later say that it would not be the last time he would cook them.
Music legend Flame Trees showed off his efforts before fans collectively showed their support.
“Well done, looks extremely healthy and delicious,” wrote one follower.
“I’m so glad everything went well Jimmy and wish you a speedy recovery and look fantastic… take care and cook happy it looks delicious,” another fan said.

Jimmy canceled his summer tour so he could have urgent surgery to relieve chronic pain that had troubled him for some time.
“I’ve been PA hopping and stage stomping for almost 50 years, but it finally got me,” Jimmy said in a video at the time.
‘You look fantastic Jimmy! Glad to see you back to doing the things you love…Nurse Jane’s care must be first class…she enjoys those sardines, they look delicious,’ added a third.
“I’ve had persistent back and hip problems for years, but things suddenly got a lot worse in the last few weeks and now I’m in constant, severe pain.”
He continued: “As everyone knows it’s against my religion to cancel shows but the doctors are telling me I need to have surgery ASAP and it will really limit my movement for the next few months.”
Jimmy went on to say that it “kills” him to “make everyone uncomfortable” but explained that it’s important that he get the surgery and recover as soon as possible so he can “jump on stage for another 50 years.”
