‘Tell me this isn’t really happening’: NASCAR star Jimmie Johnson’s sister-in-law breaks her silence after losing parents in ‘murder-suicide’ – as teammate Jenson Button pays tribute to family

The reaction of Jimmie Johnson’s sister-in-law, Marianne Janway, to an apparent murder-suicide within the family was seen on Facebook Monday night.

Jack and Terry Lynn Janway, parents of Johnson’s wife Chandra Janway, were found dead shortly after 9 p.m. Monday night.

Their grandson, Dalton Janway, 11, was also found dead, and all three suffered gunshot wounds in their Oklahoma home.

Terry is considered a suspect in the murders.

And Marianne responded to the news online, writing on Facebook, “Please tell me this isn’t actually happening, please, someone.”

It’s unclear who called, but officers are treating 68-year-old Terry (pictured) as the suspect in the shooting

Johnson’s riding teammate Jenson Button also paid tribute to his family online.

“Sending love and prayers to my teammate Jimmie, Chandra and the entire Johnson family during this devastating time,” he wrote on Twitter.

When officers arrived on the scene, they found Jack dead in the home’s hallway, and Terry and Dalton inside the residence.

Moments before they made that grim discovery, they had heard a single shot.

It is not clear if Marrianne is Dalton’s mother.

Muskogee police officer Lynn Hamlin confirmed there was no threat to the community after the triple shooting.
