Jill Biden has tested positive for the coronavirus, her office confirmed Monday evening — as the White House said, President Joe Biden has tested negative.
The First Lady, 72, is experiencing only mild symptoms and will be staying at the couple’s home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, a statement said.
Meanwhile, the White House said Joe — who was last seen with his wife on Saturday but was also in Delaware on Monday — tested negative for the virus.

In a statement released Monday, Jill’s spokesperson Elizabeth Alexander said: ‘Tonight the First Lady tested positive for COVID-19.
“She is currently experiencing only mild symptoms. She will stay at their house in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware,’ Alexander said.
White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said: “Following the First Lady’s positive test for COVID-19, President Biden was given a COVID test tonight.
“The president tested negative. The president will test and monitor for symptoms at a regular pace this week.”
