Jill Biden has reworn a controversial dress for the second time.
On Monday, she arrived in Durham, North Carolina, wearing a custom dress by designer Christian Siriano with the word “vote” written on it.
The 73-year-old wore the dress for the first time during the presidential debate between Donald Trump and her husband Joe Biden.
At the time the New York Times pointed out that she had worn it to attract attention and make a statement.
The debate ultimately turned out to be a disaster for her husband, who ultimately canceled his re-election campaign so Kamala Harris could take his place.

She arrived in Durham, North Carolina, wearing a custom dress by designer Christian Siriano with the word “vote” written on it
Siriano spoke about the garment shortly after the debate aired in June.
‘Dr. Biden wearing my dress sends a clear message to all of us. A vote for Biden is a vote for human and civil rights,” he posted on X.
‘As a young American brand and designer, we can give our clothes a voice and I hope this appeals to you. Now let’s get to work!’
The First Lady confidently rocked the dress again on Monday, but with a surprising twist.
This time she added a navy blue blazer on top.
It’s unclear whether she opted for the blazer to add something new to the look, or if she simply put it on because it was cold.
Dr. Biden campaigned for Kamala Harris in North Carolina and even brought cookies to engage local voters.

“I will vote for Biden, but I was very offended that Jill Biden wore that ‘vote’ dress. As if we need to be reminded by a piece of clothing. It was very narcissistic,” one person complained.
“Jill Biden with the VOTE dress. YASSS,” another exclaimed.
The glamorous Dr. Biden has made quite a splash in the fashion world, covering Vogue magazine twice and also appearing in the magazine with her daughter Naomi.
She also attended New York Fashion Week in September, where she collaborated with the likes of Rufus Wainwright and Jude Law.
