Injured Jett Kenny is rushed off set by paramedics after being left writhing on the ground in agony during debut on Gladiators

Jett Kenny injured himself on his first night on Channel Ten’s Gladiator Australia reboot.

Lisa Curry’s model son, who performs under the name Viking, hurt his shoulder during a challenge and was checked out by medics during Tuesday’s episode.

The 30-year-old was left writing in pain after being tackled during a game of Powerball.

The accident occurred when Jett tried to throw his opponent to the ground, but caught himself with his left arm.

“The gladiator with an injured arm or shoulder while lying on his stomach on the mat being inspected,” the announcer revealed, adding that paramedics were tending to Jett.

“Viking is now with EMS and we will keep you updated on his condition,” the announcer added.

He rushed off the set where he was given a painkiller with a green whistle, and it was revealed that Jett would not be returning to the show this episode.

“Viking is okay. He won’t be back tonight, but he will be back later in the series,” the hosts revealed.

Despite the accident, Jett was a big hit with fans of the show, with many sharing their admiration for him on X, formerly known as Twitter.
