Passengers aboard a Jetstar flight ran into trouble after another traveler took over the PA and provided unexpected in-flight entertainment.

A video posted to TikTok shows the woman taking over the passenger address system during the flight.

The flight, already delayed by two hours, took an unexpected turn when the woman began performing a rendition of La Vie En Rose by French singer Edith Piaf.

Images of the bizarre incident were shared by Connor Clarke on TikTok on Monday.

‘Wtf goes. The flight got delayed by 2 hours and now this hippie is fucking singing,” he wrote in the video.

The video shows the woman dressed in a gray top, singing while holding the PA system in her right hand.

The video shows another passenger sitting next to Mr. Clarke, struggling to contain her laughter.

The young woman, wearing headphones, covers her mouth with her left hand as she giggles hysterically.

The clip was flooded with comments from users, who were amused by the woman’s antics.

“This is reminiscent of Bridesmaids,” one user wrote, referring to the popular romantic comedy starring Australian actress Rose Byrne.

“She’s just ready to party,” said another.

“We need to normalize people like them in society…protect it at all costs.”

However, other users were not impressed with the woman’s performance.

“I would definitely open the emergency,” one wrote.

“I started playing music really loud on my phone,” wrote another.

Jetstar also commented on the video, seeing the funny side of the moment.

“That’s entertainment on board,” they said.

Jetstar confirmed the flight was delayed, but don’t know the reason.

A spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia it also did not know where the flight was going as the airline operates hundreds of flights a day.

“We sincerely apologize to customers who have experienced the disruption to their flight. Our teams have worked very hard to get them up and running as quickly as possible,” he said.

“More of our flights are departing on time and fewer are canceled after our punctuality and reliability have improved significantly in recent months.”

“While we enjoyed the impromptu in-flight entertainment and this customer was channeling his inner Edith Piaf, the PA system is for crew use only, so this only needs to be a one-off.”
