New York Jets running back Breece Hall has spoken out about his viral airport assault with a fan, claiming he was “harassed” after he refused to sign an autograph.
On footage obtained by TMZ Sportssees the fan in question lose his cool in front of Hall, while Giants legend Carl Banks tries to intervene and defuse the situation.
It is believed the Jets star, who had just arrived back at Newark Airport after heading to Las Vegas for the Super Bowl, declined their request for an autograph before the altercation broke out on Sunday night.
While waiting for his luggage, Hall was approached by the fan just a few minutes after disembarking his flight, meaning he was unwilling to respond to his advances.

Things then quickly turned sour when the man made his frustrations known, although it is unclear which comments directly led to the altercation.

Banks, the two-time Super Bowl champion who was with Hall at the airport, placed himself between the pair as he tried to protect Breece.
After finally taking Banks’ advice to move on, the fan ripped a final insult at Hall as he walked away, shouting, “Get the f*ck out of here, p****!”
When footage of the airport break-in went viral, Hall himself took to social media to clarify what happened, thanking Banks and his friend Joe for de-escalating the argument.
He wrote: ‘If you know me, you know I always show love!!! There’s a time and a place for everything, but bothering me at the baggage claim is not the time or place.
