Jets interview ESPN personality Louis Riddick over vacant GM role in shock move
The New York Jets have interviewed ESPN broadcaster and former NFL star Louis Riddick about their vacant general manager role.
Joe Douglas was sacked earlier this season, midway through another miserable campaign for Aaron Rodgers and Co. Owner Woody Johnson is leading the search for his replacement.
On Thursday, New York announced that they had spoken to Riddick about the role. Riddick spent nearly a decade as a player in the NFL and has since worked in the front office for Washington and Philadelphia.
More recently, however, he has worked as an analyst for ESPN.
