Jets’ holdout Haason Reddick issues cryptic six-word message ahead of Patriots game
The Jets’ opponent Haason Reddick posted a cryptic message on social media Thursday night before his team took on the Patriots.
Reddick, who was traded from the Eagles to the Jets in April, has yet to play or practice with the team as he searches for a new contract, costing him nearly $800,000 for every game he misses.
And before his team faced the Patriots on Thursday, he shared a vague, six-word statement on social media.
“God will always make a way,” he wrote on X, along with praying hands.
While the meaning of his message was unclear, it was not surprising that fans noted his continued reticence in their comments.

Reddick stands to lose approximately $21.75 million if he sits out the entire season.
He requested a re-signing back on August 12, just five months after the Jets acquired him from the Eagles via trade.
However, the Jets indicated they would not honor his request.
They gave up a conditional 2026 third-round pick to Philadelphia for Reddick.
