Jets head coach Robert Saleh provides major injury update on Aaron Rodgers after London loss
New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh gave an injury update to franchise quarterback Aaron Rodgers following an injury.
Rodgers struggled during the Jets’ match against the Minnesota Vikings in London, leading to a 23-17 loss at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Saleh, who caused controversy by wearing a Lebanese flag on his arm as Israel bombed the country, spoke to the media on Monday and revealed Rodgers is currently suffering from a low ankle sprain.
But Saleh was quick to douse the flames, telling the media: “All preliminary information says he is doing well.”
Rodgers’ made the bulk of the offensive plays for the Jets, but was inefficient in the loss that dropped them to 2-3 on the season.

He completed 29 of 54 passes for 244 yards, two touchdowns and a whopping three interceptions.
Rodgers was also sacked three times for a combined loss of 26 yards.
The Jets have now lost two straight games by one score after last week’s 10-9 loss to the Denver Broncos in sloppy conditions at home.
While the adjustment to playing five hours ahead may take some getting used to now that the Jets are back in New York, they will have the benefit of a longer break.
The Jets play at home against the division rival Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football in Week 6.
