Jesy Nelson has issued a stark warning about plastic surgery as she revealed she ‘almost got a boob job’ two years ago because a doctor told her she ‘needed it’
The former Little Mix singer, 33, took to her Instagram Stories on Thursday to write a lengthy post explaining her feelings behind going under the knife and why she ultimately decided not to.
The hitmaker admitted: ‘It was a very uncertain stage in my life and I just wanted to feel loved. But I didn’t really know that about myself until I really worked on my inner self. I realized that no boob job was going to fix that.
“Anyway, what I’m trying to say is that I’m so grateful I never did them because I know I would have regretted it.”
She further clarified, “I’m not against letting someone do things if it really makes you happy and feels better because everyone should live their life the way they want to.
“But please, please, as these two say, really think about it because these things can’t be undone and can make you feel worse about yourself. We were all born different for a reason and that’s a damn beautiful thing.’
In the clip Jesy referred to, presenter Mandi told listeners: ‘If you look at Instagram with the lighting, the poses and the angles, it looks like I have the perfect body in some of the photos.
“But that’s not true, because I’m not standing unposed, naked, in front of you for you to see the problems, you know what I mean?”
“Someone said to me when we started the operation, the more operations you get, the more operations you get.”
She continued, “Why is that? Because the more surgeries you get, the more surgeries you’ll need to fix and undo all those previous damn surgeries.

“Oh my God, if I could only turn back time. All that money for surgery and I look damned.
Anna added: “It’s so sad guys, honestly we can’t explain it to you. If there are any young girls watching this, really think twice before having surgery. Is it something you really, really, really need?’

In September, Jesy reportedly split from her boyfriend Zion Foster after almost two years together
“It’s still so heartbreaking when you go through all these things with someone, all the highs and lows and then they’re just gone.
“But these things happen. Are we trying to make things right? Or will you just stay away?’
In September, Jesy reportedly split from her boyfriend Zion Foster after almost two years together.
She called it quits with the R&B star, 24, after they both unfollowed and deleted all traces of each other from social media.
Jesy and Zion previously split last summer after Jesy struggled with their nine-year age difference.
However, they reunited and the pair recently collaborated on songs, one of which was revealed in August and the others yet to be released.
A source said The sun: “Jesy and Zion broke up last month and completely cut ties with each other. It’s not the first time they’ve broken up, but friends think it’s for good this time.
‘It’s a bit difficult because they had an EP ready with music they made together and Jesy doesn’t want it to come out now.
“Fans have already heard one of their songs and were hoping for more, but it’s looking pretty unlikely at this point.”
MailOnline has contacted Jesy’s representatives for comment.
