Jessie J gave birth to her first child, a baby boy.
The hitmaker, 35, welcomed the newcomer with her boyfriend Chanan Safir Colman, a basketball player, with whom she is believed to have been dating for a year.
Jessie took to Instagram Stories to share a lengthy post revealing that she gave birth to her son a week ago, adding that the love she feels for her baby is “indescribable.”
Her message read: “A week ago my whole life changed. My son came into this world and my heart doubled in size. The feeling is indescribable. I’m flying in love.
‘He’s magical. He is all my dreams come true. He is my whole [world]. He and I are both doing great. I love every second and still can’t believe he’s real, here and mine.
“I’m so grateful practice *happy tears*. To everyone who has followed my journey to this moment, thank you for all of your continued love and support. I’ll be back on Instagram when I’m ready.”

The star managed to keep the pregnancy impressively a secret at first and announced she was expecting in January and has been keeping fans updated ever since.
Jessie has previously shared that becoming a mom is “all I’ve ever wanted,” with the pregnancy 13 months after she suffered a devastating miscarriage in November 2021.
Describing the heartbreaking ordeal on social media at the time, the singer explained that doctors struggled to find a heartbeat from the baby during her third scan – before learning she had miscarried.
The new bundle of joy means that Jessie and her boyfriend Chanan have become parents for the first time.
In April last year, Jessie confirmed she was in a new relationship with the basketball player when they kissed during the lunch date in LA.
The couple first sparked romance rumors in March 2022 on Richard Branson’s Necker Island in the Caribbean, when Chanan joined Jessie for the work trip.
Jessie took to Instagram at the time looking cozy with Danish-Israeli professional basketball player Chanan in a group beach photo.
Months later, in May, she hinted that the 38-year-old veteran pro athlete is the first partner she is “really in love” with.

Appearing on The Diary of a CEO podcast, the Flashlight hitmaker teased fans about her love life, but kept the details private.
Jessie was asked by host Steven Bartlett how many times she had really been in love and she replied ‘once’, answering in the present tense, hinting that she saw her future with Chanan arranged.
She continued, “Because I can really see my life with that person and I’ve never had that before.”
Searching for more details, Steven said, “sounds recent?” She grinned, “Maybe.” but cheekily added, ‘Maybe it isn’t. Who knows? Tip.’
When she announced her pregnancy news in January of this year, Jessie shared a montage of sweet clips from different parts of her term to date.
Captioning her post, the singer wrote, “I’m so happy and terrified to finally share this… Please be gentle with me.
“Honestly, your girl just wants to cry ugly in public in a catsuit while eating a chocolate-covered pickle with no questions asked.”
The heartfelt clip was set to her own song Sunflower and showed her a positive pregnancy test confirming her baby joy.
Jessie is reportedly “filming a documentary” to showcase her career relaunch and is “determined” not to let becoming a mother get in the way of her return to pop music.
The documentary would show her navigating to return to the music arena while also getting older.

The singer has been hit by the highly contagious cold virus in recent weeks, resulting in a series of unfortunate symptoms.
Jessie took to Instagram to admit that she has to go to the toilet constantly as a result of the illness, a problem that has drastically affected her ability to maintain high fluid levels.
Last month she wrote, “I might as well sleep on the toilet right now. Keeping your fluids up while sick while pregnant is a match made in “we got any more loo roll” heaven.
