Jessie captioned the post: ‘The road to feeling like your new self after a baby is a slow one (in my opinion) and I’m definitely still working on it…
“BUT the way this little boy looks at me and loves me. Relief. He brings back my shine. Just look at the last photo.’
It comes after Jessie recently revealed she feels ‘huge guilt’ about motherhood.
Speaking at Outernet London to mark the 20th anniversary of Dove’s Real Beauty campaign, Jessie said she knows her own experiences are not the same as those of other parents.
She added: ‘I always say this: pregnancy, birth, I never thought it would come to me, I was and still am a huge advocate for infertility and child loss.
‘For years and years and years I’ve talked about that and now that I’m on the other side, I somehow feel a huge sense of guilt because I know that so many women and men are struggling.
“So when you have a baby, you have to understand that this is the most relatable and conversational thing you can talk to someone about, but also the most unique experience, and you have to understand that it is your experience and not the same as anyone else’s.” otherwise.
“You’re allowed to be sad, you’re allowed to be OK, you’re allowed to want to go back to work two weeks later, six months later, two years later, whatever it is that works for you, it really is such a personal experience.”

Jessie admitted she had experienced ‘savage’ criticism from fellow mums and urged new parents to give themselves ‘grace’ so they could recover and look after themselves.
She said, “Honestly, I have never seen such wild people as mothers. They are the most judgmental, they can be so cruel.
“You just have to give yourself grace, as if you just grew a whole person inside your body and birthed him outside your body…
“I guess that would be my advice, just to give yourself grace, be patient and understand that you brought a completely different person into the world. You can only do it your way.’
The singer also urged fellow pop stars to be more “natural” with their social media posts.
She said: ‘I would like to see more women and girls and more people in their natural environment, in their natural way.’
Chanan is a professional basketball player and the couple has been dating since 2021 (pictured in December 2023)
‘I still feel like that ‘Get ready with me’ [videos] are so made up and developed and put together and as a once pop star, way back when, I feel like I try so hard on my social media to just be who I am.
“I’ve woken up straight and filmed myself, and I’d like to see more of that in the industry.
“I still feel like there are so many women in the public eye that a lot of young women look up to who aren’t themselves, so I’d like to see more of that.”
Jessie J has teamed up with Dove to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Campaign For Real Beauty and is committed to keeping beauty ‘real’ by never using AI to represent real women in her advertising.
