Jessica Simpson admits ‘you could blow all your money on a vacation’ when asked about claims Britney Spears is ‘in danger of going broke’ from holidays she ‘cannot afford’
Jessica Simpson has admitted how easy it is to spend too much money on holidays – in response to rumors that Britney Spears is in financial trouble as her lavish travels drain her $60million fortune.
Sources close to Britney, 41, recently claimed she is ‘in danger of going bankrupt’ after taking a string of luxury holidays that she reportedly ‘can’t afford’.
As Jessica, 43, emerged from Los Angeles International Airport this week, she was asked about Britney’s alleged financial problems.
“Oh, you could blow all your money on vacation… if you’re not careful,” Jessica admitted TMZ. ‘But memories are worth more.’
She noted that her own recent family vacation to Los Cabos was financed by her mother Tina Ann Drew, “so it was free for me.”

Jessica’s finances became a subject of controversy three years ago when she bought back her lifestyle brand, The Jessica Simpson Collection.
The I Wanna Love You Forever singer previously sold the company to Sequential Brands in 2015, earning a whopping $117 million.
Six years later, however, she made a staggering about-face and decided to take over The Jessica Simpson Collection again – much to the chagrin of her business manager of more than twenty years, who broke with her over the move.
Jessica had to borrow money from her mother to get her brand back to the tune of a reported $65 million.
“I’m emptying my bank account,” she told The Real in April 2022 after the buyback. “I don’t have a working credit card.”
She approached her circumstances stoically, saying, “It’s okay. I’ll pay in cash. I recently went to Taco Bell and my card was declined. I’m on a budget, ladies!’
Jessica’s latest comments about holidays come two days after Britney deleted her Instagram – just hours after a shocking post against her family.
Britney’s friends have branded her ‘completely dysfunctional’ and claim she is in a worse mental and financial situation than when she was under conservatorship. TMZ reports.

The insiders claim that Britney is suffering from ‘shocking and radical mood swings’ and has become increasingly isolated.
One source has told the site that those who have remained close to the star believe she fared better while she was under conservatorship, which ended in 2021.
‘She had a lot of freedom during the conservatorship and the restrictions were there to protect her. She is no longer protected,” the insider claims.
Britney is also reportedly in danger of losing her $60 million fortune after spending more than a million dollars on each of her monthly trips to French Polynesia and Hawaii, photos of which she shared on social media.
She reportedly spends thousands of pounds on private jets and five-star resorts for regular holidays, with one insider claiming: ‘She can’t afford this… she’s at risk of going bankrupt.’

Now that nothing has been awarded to the Baby One More Time artist, Britney is said to be in a bigger financial hole than before the lawsuit.
“Because of the way I was raised, I was always taught the formation of right and wrong, but the two people who raised me with that method hurt me!!!” she wrote in Sunday’s post. ‘I’m so lucky to be here!!!
“It’s funny because to this day I haven’t told them in person!!! I text via IG, but I honestly don’t think it would be that safe if I were ever face to face!!!
