Jessica Rowe makes surprise career change by announcing she’s written a ‘not-so-trash’ cookbook
Jessica Rowe has announced that she is expanding her career with her ‘not-so-trash’ cookbook due for release on Tuesday.
The veteran presenter, 52, shared a snapshot of the cover of her book Family Meals: Not So Crap on Instagram on Friday that shows her laughing in a kitchen surrounded by bowls of chocolates.
She captioned the photo with some exciting words: ‘Who would have thought I’d ever have a cookbook?

The mother-of-two promised that the recipes in her book are “quick, full of shortcuts, and so much fun.”

Earlier this month, Jessica revealed she was dropped from starring in The Masked Singer after producers heard her ‘shocking’ singing voice.
on his podcast The Great Jess Rowe Talk Show talked about the embarrassing moment the producers rescinded his offer after listening to his audition tape.
The former Studio 10 host explained that she had turned down several reality TV offers in the past, including SAS Australia, but jumped at the chance to appear on The Masked Singer because she always wanted to sing.
Jessica’s management informed the show’s producers that she could not keep a tune down, but was still looking forward to it.
The mom-of-two promised that the recipes in her book are “quick, full of shortcuts, bundles, and loads of fun.”
“Everyone says that, everyone can sing,” a producer responded to Jessica’s manager.
She’s not just being polite. I have heard her, she does not know how to sing, ”the manager replied.
After hearing her ‘shocking’ rendition of a Pink song, the producers quickly changed their minds about having the star in their next season.
It’s no surprise that The Masked Singer said, “Thanks, but no thanks.” And that’s enough for me,’ Jess laughed.
