Keith announced his decision to end the talent show earlier this month, explaining that he wanted to put his family first by cutting back on his work commitments.

“I don’t really consider it the end of a chapter at all, because I love doing the show,” he said The Sunday Telegraph.

“I love that those last two seasons happened and could happen for me because I loved doing it. I feel very close to everyone on set and hopefully the door can stay open because I would jump right back.

“Just as The Voice in America has a number of coaches who come and go depending on what their schedules are, I would like to hope that The Voice could offer me that opportunity too.”

He said he was trying to balance his schedule with wife Nicole Kidman so they could take their kids home with their grandparents and extended family for the holidays.

Keith kicks off his tour of Australia on December 1 at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Center.

“I don’t really consider it the end of a chapter at all, because I love doing the show,” he told The Sunday Telegraph earlier this month.
