A prison worker has admitted having an affair with an inmate behind bars.
Mother-of-two Jessica Jade Elguindy, 25, was supported by her husband Mitch and prison boss father as she faced Penrith Local Court on Wednesday.
She pleaded guilty to entering into an intimate relationship with a prisoner, obtaining access to restricted data and misdemeanor herself as a holder of a public office.

Elguindy pleaded guilty to engaging in an intimate relationship with a prisoner, obtaining access to restricted data and misconduct of himself as a holder of a public office
Elguindy’s attorney said she would request that the charges be dismissed on mental health grounds Penrith Press reported.
The married former prison administration assistant was working at Sydney’s Geoffrey Pearce Correctional Center when she began a four-month affair with convict Beau Jones.
They sent each other X-rated messages, photos and videos using a phone smuggled into the prison.
Elguindy has since resigned from the prison, which is run by her father, Corrective Services NSW Chief Inspector Walid ‘Wally’ Elguindy.

Elguindy’s former colleague and best friend Amber Clavell is accused of having an affair with bank robber Mark Kennedy, 27, behind bars and allegedly pregnant.
Clavell is charged with engaging in an intimate relationship with a prisoner, two counts of accessing or altering restricted data, publicizing a prohibited drug and offering to sell drugs.
She has yet to plead and is scheduled to appear in court on June 4.
