A group of people know what happened to a woman who mysteriously disappeared, police have revealed.
Jessica Boyce from the small town of Renwick in Marlborough, four hours south of Wellington, New Zealand, was last seen on March 19, 2019.
A red Holden Rodeo ute driven by the then 27-year-old was found in a car park in Lake Chalice, about 50 kilometers south of Renwick.
Mrs Boyce had visited friends in Renwick earlier that afternoon and her sister saw her leaving the family home in her mother’s car.
Police launched a murder investigation in October 2020, but were unable to solve her suspicious disappearance.
Now detectives are closing in on a group of nine people they believe know what happened to Ms. Boyce and are offering a $100,000 reward for information.

Officers strongly believe that these individuals have important information or were involved in the mysterious case in various ways.
‘They know something. They may not know everything individually, but they all know a little bit about something,” Detective Senior Sergeant Ciaran Sloan, who is leading the investigation known as ‘Operation Largo’, told police. New Zealand herald.
‘We’ve spoken to them all. Some of them cooperated, others simply lied plainly.’
“Some of those involved probably only know certain parts, what they did before she went missing, and not what happened afterwards.”
Police have already determined that Ms. Boyce was likely targeted because she dealt drugs, including meth, and was also a user.

Police have collected a mountain of information over the past five years, but officers were stuck because many details about the incident were incorrect.
“The people involved are the ones we want to hear from and we want facts,” Sergeant Sloan said.
He said that while police are still looking for the suspect, detectives are getting closer to finally solving the cold case and have not lost hope that the case will be solved.
