Jessica Chastain was spotted on the set of her latest project in New York City on Monday.

The 47-year-old artist – who attended the 10th annual Breakthrough Awards ceremony on Saturday – kicked a football around on a grassy field.

The redhead beauty wore her straight locks in a side part as they brushed her shoulders.

She wore a merlot-colored jacket with faded, charcoal-colored jeans that were secured with a brown belt.

Jessica also wore dark Ray Ban Wayfarer sunglasses as she worked.

Chastain donned white socks and white wedge sneakers as she slipped into her latest role.

Underneath her outer layer, she wore a navy blue collared sweater, which she tucked into her pants at the front.

The aging actress’ face was beautifully made up with matte makeup and complete with a berry-colored lip stain.

This weekend, the Scenes From A Marriage star turned heads in a plunging purple sequin dress at the Breakthrough Prize event.

While she was there, she spoke to People about the impact her Interstellar movie character has had on fans.

Even though the film came out almost a decade ago, viewers remain connected to the scientist played by Chastain, whose name was Murph.

“There’s been a lot of people just yelling ‘Murph’ at me,” she told the publication. “Murph.” I get a lot of it, and I think, ‘Yes, physics.'”

She added: ‘[There have] There have been many couples who have told me that they named their children, their daughters Murph, after Interstellar. So I thought, ‘Maybe this means it’s a boon to science.'”

The film debuted at the Venice Film Festival in September during the actors’ strike.

At the time, Oscar winner and co-star Peter Sarsgaard was given a waiver to promote the independent film.
