The Art+Film Gala is an annual event that highlights some of the biggest names in art, film, fashion and entertainment.
On Saturday, LACMA trustee Eva Chow and actor Leonardo DiCaprio co-chaired the event for the twelfth year in a row.
This year’s event honored artist Judy Baca, the director of the project that created the Great Wall of Los Angeles, the largest community mural project in the world.
Proceeds from the annual Art+Film Gala will support LACMA’s initiative to make film more central to the museum’s curatorial programming, while funding LACMA’s broader mission.
