Last year she pleaded guilty to two charges: assault on a police officer and causing actual bodily harm.

She was sentenced to 22 months in prison for attacking two guards at Silverwater Correctional Center and was effectively given an extra year to her non-parole, meaning she was first eligible for release in July 2032.

In a video played in court, Camilleri was seen pulling a handful of hair from the scalp of one of the guards.

Camilleri was back in court on Thursday after pleading guilty to a similar attack on two female guards at Dillwynia Correctional Centre in March last year.

She pleaded guilty to two counts of assault on a law enforcement officer.

Judge Michael Allen sentenced Camilleri at Penrith District Court on Thursday to 12 months in prison, with nine months suspended.

She received a 25 percent reduction in her sentence for pleading guilty early.

Camilleri is now eligible for release on December 4, 2032.
