Jessica Alves has split from her boyfriend Dalton Phillips, just a month after the two sparked engagement rumors.

The 41-year-old model ended her relationship with the handsome man after work pressures put a strain on them.

The former Celebrity Big Brother star is set to spend more time in the US after receiving a job offer from NBC, which he will focus on from now on.

A source told MailOnline: ‘Her relationship with Dalton has ended. He couldn’t cope with following her on her work trips and was super jealous.

‘Because she had an offer from NBC in the US, she wanted to concentrate on that and had to end the romance with him.’

The couple, who first met at her birthday party in Miami, posed for a series of photos outside Sican Restaurant, on Tottenham Court Road, before heading home.

Jessica looked happier than ever, with a big smile on her face as she waved to the cameras from her taxi.

A source told MailOnline at the time that nothing was official yet, but that Jessica ‘is convinced Dalton is the one and a proposal could be in the works soon.’

She has previously openly said that she is “unlucky in love” and that she has found men taking advantage of her because of her wealth, while at the same time she is discriminated against because she is transgender.

But it seems she has finally found the love of her life, telling MailOnline that her new man is ‘generous, kind and a real gentleman’.

‘Dalton comes from a lovely family, has good values, is an adventurer and inspires me every day,’ Jessica told MailOnline.

Also in August, Jessica shared a series of loved-up photos of her and Dalton, who she claims is the heir to a $50 million company.

She said the couple had naturally built a “real bond.”

In one photo, the couple can be seen relaxing by the pool in their swimwear as Dalton, who has a business degree, kisses Jessica on the cheek.

The photo series shows the couple enjoying a beach date, with Jessica wearing a gorgeous yellow lace dress.

In another photo, Jessica and Dalton were spotted toasting cocktails during a dinner party and were also photographed sitting on the tongue of a giant mouth sculpture.

She said: ‘I’ve been on dates, as a single woman, and it’s been really hard to meet Mr. True. Men are just so complicated.

‘I’ve had some bad dates where men just wanted to take advantage of me. They just wanted my money and yeah, they weren’t looking for a relationship at all.

“They just wanted merchandise, so they said, ‘Let’s travel together. Let’s do this together, but all at my expense.’

“Sometimes they asked for things. I was in a relationship with a guy and he started asking me for financial help. I thought, ‘Gosh, p**s off.’ Anyway, I haven’t had much luck.”
