Jessica Alves to undergo fourth facelift to fix botched lip surgery and take her mind off terrifying kidnap ordeal: ‘Being 40, single and sagging is desperately worrying’

Jessica Alves has revealed she is having a fourth facelift in a bid to repair her ‘sagging’ skin and hide a ‘terrible’ scar caused by a lip lift last year.

The TV personality, 40, has vowed to slow down her plastic surgery procedures in recent years.

Still, she hopes the latest surgery will help hide her scar and give her some much-needed confidence after being traumatized by a horrific kidnapping in her native Brazil.

Jessica previously revealed that gunshots were fired at her as she left her São Paulo home during a recent visit and was too scared to go outside after police revealed she was the victim of a kidnapping plot.

She told MailOnline exclusively: ‘Even since I got back from Brazil, I’ve been trying to keep myself busy to take my mind off the events. I met friends, went to the salon and booked a facelift next week. Taking care of myself makes me feel good.’

Jessica continued, “As difficult and traumatic as this experience has been, I have tried to keep my spirits up. I’ve had a lot of people asking if I’m okay, which means a lot and it’s nice to see people care.

‘Yesterday I spent six hours at Neto hair salon getting more hair extensions because I love that feeling I have with long hair, I think it symbolizes femininity and gives you a goddess-like look.’

Sharing more about her upcoming surgery, she revealed: ‘Seven months ago I had a lip lift which left me with a horrible scar that I have to cover up with make-up and have tried to reduce with injections.

‘I have booked an operation in Istanbul at the Trio Clinic with Dr Cagdas Orman to fix that, and while I am undergoing treatment I am having a small facelift.

‘I’m turning 41 this year and yesterday at the hair salon I noticed some sagging under the neck and I’m panicking!

“Being 40 years old, single and flabby is terribly worrying.”

It comes after Jessica detailed her horrific kidnapping ordeal.

Jessica, who has lived in London for the past 21 years after moving to the capital to study at the age of 18, bought an apartment in Brazil two years ago to have a home close to her family.

The reality star explained how she spent four weeks there, but her visit was marred by a horrific ordeal that took place as she left her apartment on her seventh day in São Paulo.

Jessica explained how gunshots were fired as she drove out of her house with her sister, with police eventually revealing to her that she was the victim of a kidnapping threat, forcing her to hire 24/7 armed security.

Jessica described the property she bought in São Paulo as “a beautiful house in São Paulo in a nature reserve in a gated condominium.”

She explained, “My family is made up of European immigrants based in São Paulo. They are very successful and own a third of the city’s shopping centers, supermarkets and stores.

‘They lead very discreet lives, yet drive bulletproof cars and also live in high-security apartments.

‘I often go to Brazil for my TV shows and never stay too long, but at the moment I have four weeks booked. In my first week I recorded the TV shows and often went to the mall or out for dinner with friends, living a normal life, just like in London.

‘I also posted a lot of Instagram stories around my house and by the pool so people would find out where my apartment is.

‘Every day when I went out in the car, there were a legion of fans waiting outside. Of course I got out of the car and took selfies and thanked them, but also asked them to go home and not stay outside all day waiting to see me.

‘On the seventh day I left the house with my sister and there were many people waiting for me. My sister didn’t feel comfortable with that so she drove away.

“As we did so, we heard a loud gunshot behind us. Apartment security then called the police.”

Jessica continued: ‘Once the area outside the flat was cleared and I was cleared to come back, the police were at the flat and explained that there was a kidnapping threat against me. They told me to just stay home for my safety.

“In addition to apartment security, I had to hire armed security to stand at my door for three weeks.

‘When I was taken to the airport to fly home, I was escorted by the local police and my armed private security.

‘It was a relief for me when I started my British Airways flight. When the doors closed I started crying like a baby and the crew member looking after me asked if I was okay. I said ”yes, now I know we are going back to London”.
