Jessica Alba appeared to be in good spirits in New York City on Wednesday after stepping down from her blockbuster film Honest Company.
The 43-year-old was photographed in New York City wearing a beige button-up cardigan, matching trousers and a white T-shirt. Jessica kept it casual with white boots and a matching white handbag.
The actress accessorized her look with chunky gold hoops, a gold pendant and black shades. Jessica’s light brown hair framed her face and hung loosely down.
The entrepreneur stepped out with a friend two days after appearing on The Tonight Show, where she discussed her resignation as Chief Creative Officer at The Honest Company after 12 years.
“I feel like it’s my fourth baby and I sent my baby to college,” Jessica admitted to Jimmy Fallon’s host. “It’s been hard, but I’m ready for my next chapter.”

Jessica, who wore head-to-toe Fendi with a sheer gray long-sleeve blouse, burgundy suede skirt and gray pointed-toe pumps, took a moment to greet the company’s new CEO.
“I have Carla Vernon,” she said, “and she runs the company and it’s great. There is a whole senior leadership team that is fantastic.”
Jessica co-founded the eco-friendly baby, beauty and cleaning products company in 2012, but is now ready to return to the entertainment industry.
In February, she launched the production company Lady Spitfire and will make her debut in the female-led action film Trigger Warning on Netflix on June 21.
‘I want to produce more’ Jessica told Jimmy, ‘and Trigger Warning, for me, I love action movies. I love action, and I love stunts, so the producers of John Wick and Sicario did this, and I thought, “I want to have a grounded, cool, female-driven action movie.” And so the director was a woman, and the writer who made The Last Pass was a woman. The producers were women. The DP is a woman. Set deck ladies. So we had a lot of department heads in a genre that is quite male-dominated.”
Jessica then gave fans a quick recap of what to expect from the film.
“Parker is my character, and something tragic happens at home,” she explained. “So my dad dies, and then I go home to record things, and it doesn’t smell good. Things don’t really add up. And she’s a Special Forces commando.”
From there, the plot gets even more complicated, as Jessica says, “She was on active duty when she was taken out and she’s really exposed the local illegal gun trafficking going on in town and is taking on this gang on her own.
Meanwhile, Jessica’s home life is action-packed for another reason too. The mother of three shared that she and husband Cash Warren, who share Honor, 15, Haven, 12, and son Hayes, 6, are preparing for their eldest daughter’s birthday.

“They’re fantastic,” Jessica said. ‘They are getting big. My eldest is officially driving and will soon be 16 years old. I thought, “Your 16th birthday. This is my time to really shine as a partygoer.” And she says, ‘No, Mom, it’s so embarrassing.'”
Despite trying to convince Honor of her epic partying skills, the teen refused to budge.
“She says, ‘I just want to go out to dinner with my friends, maybe 22 of us or something. And then we’ll just play games,'” Jessica said. ‘And I was like, “Oh my god, I have a games guy! We can do stations.”

The 43-year-old celebrated her 16th wedding anniversary in May. She and Cash Warren share children Honor, 15, Haven, 12, and son Hayes, 6
But Honor doesn’t want to take her mother up on the offer. ‘I throw good parties, man!’ Jessica joked to Jimmy. “No, she’s having none of it.”
Although the star won’t be able to use her party planning skills this time, she recently had another fun reason to celebrate.
’16 years of marriage, 20 years together and forever to go… Happy Birthday @cashwaren,’ Jessica spotted on Instagram May 19. ‘I’m proud of us for getting this far. There is no real set of rules or guidelines that can ever prepare you for what it means to commit to someone else and choose to be family. Through thick and thin we have always found our way to each other and chose each other. Cheers for us, I love you.”
As for the secret of their long-lasting love? Communication.
“I think sometimes it’s about communication, sometimes it’s about communication,” she said Entertainment tonight in August. ‘It’s about communicating how you feel.’
